Making A Post Vice Stand

At first I thought that’s a lot of work for one postnot that you asked for my opinion.
But after thinking about it I can see the satisfaction that you will get when somebody talks to you about the post and you say in the process you used to make it.
I love recycling wood too especially on shop projects.
I’m sure your father is very proud.

Well accomplished build [and restore] - for me it seems a little space hungry, but such 'industrial' holding power may well prove me wrong in future projects! Great work Matt, I enjoy your calm, zen like approach to your passion.

It seems that both vice and stand where together from the beginning . Also if you make the same stand only longer and slimmer it would be nice as a floor lamp . Cool project !!!!!!!!!!! The vice is devilishly beautiful !!!!!!!!!!
