    Thanx for this great review. My wife bought this bike, and I bought the samedi 28 Moustache bike. Both are really easy and comfortable to ride, and great for commuters, thanks to the bosch system. I like the Moustache style too (mix of vintage and high tech if you look close enough). One negative point, the price which makes ebikes quite hard to buy for students or young workers. Hope these bikes will get cheaper and cheaper.

    Just bought an ebike from this manufacturer. The pannier rack you mentioned works with 1, 2, & 3 QL Ortlieb (all Ortlieb panniers), the current set up is for QL3 but once removed (unscrew those small black tabs) the rack becomes QL2.1 or in other words compatible with QL1 and QL2 panniers.

      You rock! Thanks for clarifying this... I'm sure it will help others and I might even add it to the site in the full review if that's alright :D

      Mr C C SASIN this is a really smart design on their rack. It utilizes QL3 in the cleanest way possible. I took the one pin off on this bike to use the QL2

    Finally a Moustache review! I own one of the Philippe Start designed Moustache Asphalt in the video - would love to see your take on the next review.

    I like the Moustache Lundi 26! Hope they will be making this model 30 years or more. This is a classic!

    Great Review! You just convinced me to purchase the 2021 Lundi 27.1. I was just wondering if by changing the city tires for something more hybrid, I could ride more rough paths with cobblestones or gravel without much vibration. What are your thoughts? I'm new in this e-bike world. Thanks!

      E°Bike Company Mainz we're pretty excited to help them to bring their bikes here. They did a great job with their new eMTB's! They did a great job hiding the battery. Their designs are leading the way!

    This bike reminds me of the one Macaulay Culkin rode in the movie Pagemaster. Such nostalgia has been triggered.

    Nice E Bike. I like the low easy on feature. It makes it easier for us old guys to get on.
    Even President Trump could get on this at 70 years old!
    Another good review by EBR.

    • @ElectricBikeReview

      Yeah! Me too, the bike is very easy to approach and it comes in a few fun colors as well as white, silver and black. Many of my friends are older and I see them heading towards recumbent or trikes but that changes the freedom, weight and feel of the bike... so if you can get on a bike like this and still enjoy it I think that's cool. And yes, I'd love to see the President and other influential people get a try at bikes like this. A few European leaders have demoed them (as cycling is very popular there) and I think the impressions have all been good :)

      As much as I like sporty bikes. It's quite a nice experience to ride a low step bike with an upright riding position! Especially when ridding in the city and taking in the sights.

    this bike looks very much like my soon to be upgrade... if I can get it to Australia!!
    Like to throw my 2 cents in on a few points to potential E-bike owners. Ok.. so when I got my e-bike 3yrs ago I was 130kgs...yep totes a chubster... I'm now 98kgs and haven't changed my diet too much...just got a little more sensible... the one thing that changed is I ride my bike pretty much everywhere because I freakin love it !!! BUT... if you to are a chubster recomend you swap out your rear spokes to a much heavier guage ... you go over a gutter or a big bump or pothole your walking it home... and yes it did start to rain about 800m from home... get a rear vision mirror, here in Australia for the right hand side in the USA it would be the left as being bigger getting the head turn and keeping the bike running true ain't real easy with limited flexibility... Also to get used to it and the power in relation to finding and improving your balance take it to a big nicely mown park or field and practice using your body on turns rather than relying solely on steering... if you come off much better for you and the bike.. the bike has plenty of power to travel very nicely on grass... and in Australia Helmuts are mandatory and a cop WILL fine you for riding without one... but they do spare you a massive head injury. Be like Aussies...wear a headbin

    I have been looking at a lot of ebikes and I have to say this bike may be the one I choose. I am in N.C. and was wondering if a local bike shop would be able to service it when the time comes?

    Cory check out the french pronunciation of Lundi because the way you said it was too funny. Lundi, is just french for Monday.

    So I got a pair of Sondors THIN's sitting here next to me, and they're great. Any real reason I should be considering upgrading to something in this price range?

    • @ElectricBikeReview
      @ElectricBikeReview  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      It all depends on how you use them... I like the Sondors Thin for what it is but prefer the comfort, ease of mounting, lights, more powerful motor and much much better range on an ebike like this. Yeah, it costs more than twice as much, but it will probably last longer and do a lot more (like if you're commuting to work). The first ebike I purchased was a more affordable one and after a while I sold it and bought a fancier one because I was riding so much. Not everyone goes that path, it's a personal choice or even lifestyle I guess :)

    City bikes are not my cup of tea but this looks to be like something I would get if I'd need one. Will you test the other one too? That looks really sick :)

      Tamas Varga the other one is called the Moustache Asphalt. I believe Court has that in the hopper and it should be released soon.

    Is the bike heavy?

    • @whenhen
      @whenhen 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      According to the EBR website, it's 55lbs

    • @ElectricBikeReview
      @ElectricBikeReview  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      You are a saint! To put those 55 lbs into perspective, I'd call that "good" given the fenders, rear rack, lights and reinforced step-thru design here. I review many ebikes that weigh 60+ lbs in this same category :)

    $3000? Still waaay to much, I bought a used Piaggio BV 250 scooter with 300 miles on for $2400. This is definitely not for your regular working guy or someone on a limited budget. All that said it is really nice looking bike. Very well designed.

    • @Shindinru
      @Shindinru 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You're comparing new to used. A BV 250, when it was new, ran around $5k (MSRP $4,899).

    • @MrJoeblofromidaho

      Still costs way too much, however you cut it.
      Beautiful bike none the less.

    Ehh ... if you're making bicycles, why would you call your company or any model "moustache"? That's just begging for someone to talk about going for a moustache ride.
