Tbh, buying one big warehouse is worse than buying bunch of smaller ones. They can't fill this one and always be one raid away from losing most of their stuff. It's mostly a thing they have to buy whether it makes sense economically or not.

@@MGZettaYou’re not wrong, but that building in particular is right next to their meeting spot, and it costs $1M, so it’s a huge show of wealth for them to buy it immediately, and also if somebody else had bought it then how would they claim to run Cypress if they don’t own the most expensive/biggest building there?
well i mean a 500 sq ft trailer is 250k nowaday. peopel value small building more than larger one unless they lookin for a large base of operation
@MGZetta they can just get a clean person to own the warehouse which should mitigate that issue. And many smaller warehouses would make them spend more time and money in the end due to square feet to price ratio, property taxes, electric bills, spark plug management, needing more solar panels, etc. They made the correct call here.
The entire reason that OB were stockpiling clean cash was for this exact purpose; to buy properties in Cypress as soon as they become available. Maybe it was the wrong execution with Lang not even telling Gege and running past her to get the money without saying anything, but this was definitely the right decision.
That was the whole reason why they were trying to stockpile clean cash... that said, Gigi was gearing them to finally be out of debt this week. End of the day, Gigi is RIGHT to be annoyed this makes things harder for her AND ALSO it just had to be done, it wasn't a choice.
Troubles cleaning the money originally, to now they need cash to pay the bois. So her books are kinda fucked. Feels bad but that a better problem than having cg or the company having a fortress in the block/ turf., and all the following problems that will bring. Plus who know how much it will resale for in the future. It's an asset that they can use as collateral for Marlo's loans so they can leverage it until they got all the money back.
She, ooc, is very happy they bought the property cause it legit makes so much sense on so many levels. It's just she's playing her character to act super frustrated that they are always in debt lol

the pirce did not make sense. how is 13k sqm 1m while 4.5k sqm, 800k in the same area. That warehouse should have a purchasing price of 2.4m if u go by sqm value of all the other warehouses in that area.

The reason is no one can afford a 2.4M warehouse right now and so devs shouldn’t even try to price it at that as it’ll never got bought for many months
