I beg to differ -- this was GREAT viewing! Vicarious camping while cleaning up the lunch dishes and getting ready to head out into our US heat wave. Stay safe in yours.
I'm glad you still enjoy them the second time around - its great to know especially as in the start it was such a moot point, now people seem to be getting to know the format and enjoying them in both sizes. Thanks for watching, Ken!
We're considering wild camping and have now got all the gear! Just waiting delivery of a smaller 3 man Vango, than we have already for site camping! Ruddy big Osprey backpacks too! Me being a light 5 ft woman, I'm going to need to practice some with it fully loaded because, on trial i was bumping into things because of my bed roll strapped at the back 🤣🤣
I just loved this video of you guys. It made me laugh 😆!! I have to confess Trevor that the first time a used my tarp as a tent, I had less trouble in putting it up than you. I and I did a tent with the floor!!! 😁
Quality boys. The other week I was tarp camping with a mate and we were rudely awoken at 6 surrounded by a bloody herd of cows. Right pain the the arse. Keep up the good work chaps.
Dean Harvey 😂😂😂 have been there before, Dean, but with sheep. Good job though as we (when I say we I mean I) woke up in time to catch some awesome cloud inversions timelapse and sunrise. Good to hear you're getting out though! It seems a while since we last got out!
@@SummitOrNothing sheep I could handle, they run away, just don't fancy being trampled to death by a bunch of cows. I've not got onto the moor since that trip, need to get out again soon. Take care and keep up the awesome videos. I think a video of you packing would be quality Trev. I seem to pack and repack at least three times for every trip.
I’m with Nath on the anti-social front. Living in a box is not conducive to good health, unless it’s in the middle of nowhere. “All comedy at the end of the day”, and I thank you for it lads. Doing the binge watching thing again for the feel-good factor 🌻🐞
Have had a couple of Wales trips now - you can find them in our Boys On Tour Playlist! Andy - you have been busy - hope you're enjoying the videos! Thanks for watching!
The sawyer is good but can be slow to fill the pouch. I've found using a standard coke bottle works better and fits the filter perfect. Makes filtering easier and no worry about forcing the pouch and splitting it. Just a suggestion mind....ATB Andy
Started watching this and it got to the bit where Nath was saying about his shoulder pain from the gym and I thought I'd seen this already!! Then I noticed this is the full length video lol. Still watched it all again tho. Good video mate. Fanny pack ain't a bad idea. Get one Nath
Just found your channel, I'm enjoying it! I've got viewranger but I'm inexperienced with these things so didn't know if it was good or not, it sounds like you get good use out of it so I'm encouraged to have another go
Hi there! Thanks for watching! Viewranger is ok for us. We only really record tracks on it, have not used it to follow a route yet, although I hear that it is worth trying! Atb! Trev!
Great video guys, hilarious! Quick question re roll mats, are you both using the thermarest roll mats without any additional inflatable mats? Is this because you are tarping it or do you change the sleeping mat set up when tenting it? If so, how is the comfort level (not so much the heat reflection, I know that is their USP)...is it not a bit hard to sleep on? cheers guys!
Hi Andy - it was first and foremost a weight saving decision. I must say, i have been considering going back to my self-inflating mattress as its a lot more comfortable than the Thermarest, but i think it was about 400g's difference overall. I have to admit that waking up on the thermarest I do feel like i have been beaten up all night!
Summit Or Nothing good info thanks, for what it’s worth....I invested in the Exped UL 7 (full length version) after a TH-cam recommendation by MyRucksackandI and couldn’t be happier, total weight 700g and has some down insulation in it, comes with the bellows type bag to inflate so no heavy puffing, packs down small too and the also do a great pillow at 70g. Really comfy and great quality, I think they are very comparable with the higher end thermarests but just what I opted for! Anyway, looking forward to next vid...cheers!
They are nice and handy, quick to use and fairly good on fuel, if not a bit pricey. But saying that, I am toying with the idea of going back to the Trangia and having a play about with that. Good luck with your wild camping. Its great to get out there! All the best!
I would take that shack in the middle of nowhere , rather than urban bullshit in the U.K. However I have a shack in the tropics with dirt cheap electric food and no bullshit...

Isn't it funny how you can enjoy watching a micro adventure in small chunks and then enjoy the same adventure in one large video. Keep it up.

Brilliant video. Great entertainment. You have a great rapport together.
Thank you kindly! Glad that you enjoyed it!

Hahah Yeah, I do make things look difficult lol. Thanks for watching!
You could try combining some fishing with a costal wild camp.
Maybe cook any catch, over a fire. Nath might be able to fit that into his schedule. 🔥
Enjoyed the laughs between you both, great humour and fun to watch. Thanks!
Thanks for watching, Chris! Cheers!

Those tarps looked great, I would like to give that a whirl in spring 🤘

Haha! Yeah, we ended up quite close to the car again here. Makes for a speedy getaway in the mornings! Thanks for watching!

Hi guys, just came across your channel and watched a few videos this morning. Great videos love them. Subbed thumbs up and all that biz. Cheers Tim
Hi Tim, thanks very much for subbing and watching our videos and really glad that you're enjoying them. ATB bud!
Nice one guys.
Are you doing Ben Nevis this year and if so when..?
Keep the adventures coming.
Neil.
Neil Bennett Done Neil. Part one tomorrow!
Can’t believe you walked so far with packs on and then camped so close to the car🤣
Training hahah!
Nice one, you both looked knackered Sunday morning, did you have a party that you didn’t share on the video...😂😂😂😂
Mark kelly if only, Mark.
Hi guys.
I've just ordered a DD3x3. Just wondering what bivvy bags you both used and would you recommend.
Cheers Trev & Nath. Great video.
Hi Doug - I got myself an old army surplus goretx bivvy bag - there's probably better and lighter bags out there - but it does the job!
What tarp configuration is that? How do I do it
Ever figure out how to get past that locked gate? 😀
Weekend Wanderer nope... We're still there 😂😂
Hey trev, let Nath know that I live in Dorset😀 I’m in Poole😀
Ok, cool. Cheers Paul!
Great laugh brilliant . Just subscribed. Can I ask what tarp you used?
Thaks very much - glad that you enjoyed it! We were using the DD Hammocks 3x3 Superlight Tarp.
This is where I insert super witty and funny remarks....
George Post Well... Go on then. 😂😂😂

Nursery music... Lmfao ⭐
😂😀😂
This has made me want to get into wild camping. :). Do you recommend the Jetboil?
They are nice and handy, quick to use and fairly good on fuel, if not a bit pricey. But saying that, I am toying with the idea of going back to the Trangia and having a play about with that. Good luck with your wild camping. Its great to get out there! All the best!
@@SummitOrNothing Any chance you could review the Trangia on the channel?
@@carl7221 Once ivevhad a go at it of course I will.
Is that 3x3 tarp
Mmmm featureless, with or without mist.....
I miss the Laurel and Hardy mix !
