So many times when I hear a Wong song I have to check the playback speed to make sure I don't actually have the playback set to 1.25 or 1.5 speed. How in the world do they play that fast and so tight?! Everyone on that stage is ridiculously talented.
Wait!!! Sonny T and Victor Wooten on stage at the same time!!😮 That had to have broken a law of limiting the amount of bass greatness in one place at the same time. I think they moved the earth of off it’s axis with grove overload.
Thanks for putting this online. I was at the show. I upgraded my seats to upper box because of a pinched nerve in my leg, but I missed being on the floor for the show. Fillmore was packed and everyone was having a great time. Trousdale was a pleasant surprise.
GO EXPERIENCE LIVE MUSIC!!! Still can’t believe I got to see these amazing musicians live in St Louis. The best live event I’ve ever been to, hands down.
So generous Cory ! On stage... With the musicians... With guests... On TH-cam... In the life for sure. Thank you for sharing with us so far away from these events to be "with you all" for a so great music moment ! From "an aged man in France !"
Brooklyn Bop is FIRE! It's dancing in the sunset on a beach w exotic drinks, then Jay Webb makes you tear up with a beatiful solo, and just when you think you need tissue paper, you're saved by the rest of the horns and the chorus. I'm sure everyone can relate 😅
Jay Webb absolutely killed it on Brooklyn Bop, what an experience that tune was Edit : And look at that, Jay actually replied to me, what an absolute chad
@@jaywebb6223hijacking to echo what he said. Saw y’all on the west coast leg in the fall. My wife is not as big into instrumental music as me but she tagged along. your solo in Brooklyn Bop was the highlight of the show for her.
Cory, thank you so much for letting me play with you. You are my hero and I was very nervous to play but you made my dream come true. Cory you're the best! PS, How is the new song coming along with OAR? Richard On is my cousin! Edit: This was not staged guys it was totally real :) I was panned to the left a bit and was a little quieter but thank you for not muting me haha!
Thank you, Cory and band! I couldn't make the tour this time so it's really generous of you to share here. Congrats to Ben! Cory had finished talking about ambition and getting to play with Victor Wooten, then Ben got the mic and was brave enough to shoot his shot with his request. Feel-good vibes all around!
Really fun show, thank you live-streaming it! Everyone out here in Portland Oregon stuck at home during the snowstorm and ice everywhere. So great to have such wonderful live music from the comfort of my home. 🎉🔥🎶
I notice that many of the comments here use the word "incredible" about the band and gig, that was my own pick too. Absolutely awesome concert, they really should keep this one up on the channel or else release it as a dvd!
Can't believe how good the sound of this band is. Thank you Cory for putting these amazing human beings together to play and share your music with us!!
Missed the show in Raleigh, NC and was super bummed. Sitting at work and saw this stream pop up and dang neared fell outta my seat. Thanks for the show.
I really cried tears of joy watching this, no more words to say, I‘m speechless… thank you for the music, thanks to all band members and of course Victor, you are an inspiration!
Cory slayed it on that rendition of the Peg solo! That’s a tough one to play, add he added his own touches to it while still making it recognizable. Well done, man!
Saw them at the Ryman in Nashville and when I saw this immediately played it. That show was packed. Sierra Hull, Cody Fry and Victor Wooten in the house? I'm still reeling from that show.
Victor is truly outrageous. In Nashville last week during the Welcome 2 Minneapolis solo he not only did the around the world trick he does here but also took the bass up off his shoulders and spun it in the air forward in the air and caught it. The input cable unfortunately couldn't take the heat and had to be plugged back in, Cory also looked like he was about to lose it squatting in the back
it makes me unspeakably happy to see Sammy rae get the recognition she deserves. odd they're not in the thumbnail or description tho lol SR&tF honestly amazing, would love to see y'all collab on a studio release (or heck even just a live album of this show)
Una band fantastica.... Cory sei un genio ed un grande musicista....i love you.... grazie per la buona musica, il sound , il groove, il soul, il funky, il jazz, il blues che ci regali su TH-cam...per me dovrebbero farti un monumento 😎👍
This is my first time hearing and seeing Corey Wong and his band. WOW. Amazing sound and musicians. If anyone knows Corey Wong or the band, tell them, they need to come down here to the Crescent City and play Jazzfest next year, Burn down the Jazz Tent. But seriously, they really need to play Jazzfest. It will be great. Thanx for posting this.

Thanks! Minor correction, the song at 1:07 should be Lunchtime.
Much obliged
Thanks for putting this together! One very minor correction: It should be "Flecktones" instead of "Fleckstones."
1:26:46 is also def earworm from sauna
Just saying thanks and also bumping
Who ever mixed this should be given the Nobel peace prize. That horn section was so clear. Amazing work.
I assure you it never sounds this good at the venue.
Agree, superb mix. This gig should get released on dvd.

Yes. And having sectionals works.
For real. This was a great show

YES!!!! Finally Dean Town played by Victor Wooten!!! I’ve been imagining this since I first heard this song.
The way Vic was playing off the rhythm in his first solo was incredible. What a funky man.
The man has a sixth sense for music
He makes it look so easy. The man’s a living legend!

Ben you've always been the kind of guy who'd be called on stage to play at a Cory Wong concert lmao
I saw you play, I was there! You were about 5 feet from me!
GIGACHAD MOVE MAN
Having the chance to play Dean Town with Cory, Sonny, and Victor. Now that's a massive W
Congrats man
Cory’s right hand…his ability to play in the pocket is incredible, best rhythm player I’ve EVER heard.
Was there last night. My son bought tickets for us. Amazing. Thanks Josh.
Waiting the whole show for just two minutes solo from Victor..... Priceless!!!!!
Jon always just looks like he’s having the time of his life playing with Cory. Love the energy!
The second song Radio Shack has so much Lupin 3rd OST Feeling with the flute. Loved it
I couldn't breathe anymore, the horns blew out all the air. Einfach nur GEIL.
Those jackets are 🔥!! Also what a gift to TH-cam this is. Glad Negah and Lampley made it back out! So much good energy here.

Cory Wong and his orchestra is one of the best things that happened to us in this century.
21:30 that solo was vibing.
The entire performance was amazing. Love what you're doing Cory!
That Peg+Aja outro gave me chills.
Love Separado and Stomping Grounds
Never heard of Sammy Rae but how can anyone not love her vibe? Awesome cover by the whole band
Absolutely incredible show!! This may be the best Cory Wong concert on the internet.
playing peg was awesome and them morphing it into aja was brilliant!

This is absolutely incredible. Thank you to all of the absolutely fantastic musicians and the sound engineers!!! Cory you are incredible!
Agree, this is incredible and they're a ridiculously fat band, yet tight and groovy. Feels like a jazzier version of the mid-1970s JBs... :)

Press conference with music support, appreciate it 💛

Was able to be there live for this last night. Was such a great time. Can’t wait to see them again
"The phaser era" of Cory Wong. He's been the "clean tone" guy for so long, it was surprising, but cool to hear him talk about it.
