- The Japanese tank industry is almost one hundred years old, as it was in the 1920s, when the first tanks appeared in Japan. Even though the earliest experiments were not particularly successful, modern Japanese MBTs are considered to be among the very best out there. Today we’re going to talk about the ways you can use those MBTs to unlock their full potential!

FYI Type 10 is one of the most bugged tank in game. Suspension are bugged and the vehicule loose mass speed during small trajectory adjustement because transmission is also bugged .... so its mobility in real condition is quite bad which is sad for a tank with no armor
Played it just now and the hydro suspension works ok so what are you referring to?
@@minerkosk9786 if you played the tkx and the type10 you'd know from just feel that the transmission on the type 10 is bugged. the TKX doesn't have this problem and you can tell.

the audacity to release a video on Japanese MBTs when they insist on artificially nerfing them, especially when it comes to gun handling, idk if anyone has noticed but the Type 90 and type 10 should not share gun handling stats with vehicles several decades older than them and as for the Type 10s mobility, well, its much worse than it should be, still decent because the shell, reload rate and optics are good but they are carrying it atm

Above all its still baffles me that gaijin hasn't fixed the issue that the type 90 is faster than the type 10 as in irl the type 10 is twice as fast as the type 90

Hopefully the Type 10s will receive the Continuously Variable Transmission that characterises their mobility, or a simulation of its effects, soon…
Type 10 should accelerate faster than Type 90, not slower!
fr, the transmission on the type 90 works 100x better than on the type 10 which shouldnt be the case, like the type 10 losses all speed at the thought of slightly turning. but actually in real life the type 90 does accelerate quite a lot faster the tyoe 10
It should equally accelerate cuz same engine power.
@@armypitcher1410 The Type 10 is equipped with HMT (Hydro-Mechanical Transmission), which gives better acceleration than the Type 90 despite the lower engine power.

@@hanaki0701e39528i 「10式戦車の機動展示と90式戦車との性能比較展示 上富良野駐屯地創立記念行事2015年 JGSDF Type 10 MBT Demo and Type 10 vs Type 90 Comparison」という動画をご覧ください。こちらの動画が純粋な加速勝負ですが、90式は発進前にふかすことが可能なので動画によっては90式と10式の加速が大差ないように見えます。上記動画とは別の「10式戦車・90式戦車・74式戦車の走行性能比較展示 第7師団・東千歳駐屯地記念行事2015年 Type 74, Type 90, Type 10 MBT performance Comparison」という動画を見ていただくと分かりますが、こちらでは90式と10式の加速では僅かに90式がリードしていますが、発進前から90式の後部から黒い排気煙が出ていることが分かります。

The type 74s were kinda rough with that bad reverse speed. A lot of dependance on the team to push and not be completely stupid, but the tkx and type 90 are such a nice change of pace when I want to say “screw it I’ll handle it myself.”

When more accurate armor and mobility for the type 10 ? (and it's APS ?)
In the actual Type 90 and Type 10, armor is not sacrificed because of the use of converging ceramics, and they have very advanced armor that repairs itself after being hit.
However, since that is classified information, no data has been released on how many mm of armor it has and how much armor protection it has, so even if you submit it to Devblog, it will not be reflected in the game...
Make no mistake, that is the main armor, and what we are assuming is the hypothetical enemy, Chinese or Russian tank artillery.

P.S. I found something named Type 10 tank, 3second reloading
@@user-py7ui4vf5e the 2 first shots take about 2sec to reload. The next 3 rounds are around 3.4sec, and then it's around 4 and cake take to 5secs to reloaf the last round in the readyrack.
@@user-py7ui4vf5e 2 second reload time for the round to be in the breach, without the autoloader cycling and the gunner needing to scan for a target, otherwise the reload in total should be just about 3 seconds sustained.
I love playing Japan, it's my favorite nation to play. The type 74 is my favorite tank but i love the sta 3, type 61, the type 90 and type 10 and it's prototypes. They type 74 is the best looking mbt in my opinion
Will we ever get the O-I superheavy in the game? It’s already been proven that there were mobility trials, just no photos unfortunately.
That hyrdopneumatic suspension system on later Japanese MBTs is pretty useful sometimes.

The one thing I like about Japanese top tier is it’s basically like the American top tier tech tree but with much better quality of life improvements on the vehicles, especially the aircraft

The other type74 variants have only small changes such as fire control system new camouflage and so

Yes but it cannot be sustained and will break the mechanism. Also with a 3sec reload you cannot aim it effectively. Source is Jane's Defense.
@@jb7483Type 90 has its disclosed reload at little less than 4 seconds and type 10 3.4, but there is video evidance showing type 10 sustaining reload of 2 seconds (probably selectable) (I think it shortens the autolofer life time), and being able to reload in 1 second (but this is in really favorible situations and isn't sustainable
Fun fact. They can do 1,5s but anything under 3,5 i think demages the autoloader

And in my opinion 3 seconds is normal, 2 seconds is fast mode (damages the mechanism slightly),
And 1 second panic mode (basicly not sustainable and does a lot of damage to the system)

Add more tanks in Japan, it's so empty in the middle tiers
luckily a lot of japanese mains I see are pretty good and careful players
but that doesnt justify all the shiet gaijin did to japanese vehicles
