I bought 2 UPCs, and was gonna leave one sealed, but I didn't like my pulls in the first one, so I opened the second one.... pulled the ZARD! I've opened 150+ packs since the set was released, and I need only 22 more cards to complete the set. I definitely believe the pull rates are insane on this set.
Last week, I preordered the 151 Mew UPC from my local GameStop and picked it up yesterday evening. I pulled the Blastoise SIR, Pikachu AR, and the Giovanni's Charisma FA! I didn't have those cards before!

My UPC was pretty good. I pulled 1 golem ex, Arbok ex, charizard FA Ex, Gio’s SIR, Zapdos Ex SIR, Caterpie IR and Charmelon IR. I just felt like the quality of the cards weren’t that good IMO. Other than that, a great video cuz! I can’t wait to see your next ones! Have a good one 😎
I almost have a masterset for under $200. I bought a bulk card auction on ebay that had pretty much everything in it besides EX and above. With all varients non holo holo and resverse for every card! Ive slowly been buying up all the EX and full arts for $2-5 a pop its been a steal! I got the who blastoise line for $30 i only need like 10 more cards
Yeah I had the same luck too…I opened mine up earlier and only got 2 ex cards and a psyduck character card 😔 not the best results but hey it’s just the luck of the box lol
seems they favour a side i opened a box with my son, my side had wigglytuff ex and ex full art, his side had both mews and erikas invitation full art ❤
Damn that first upc box was not fair at all, the 2nd one was decent. I pulled a SIR Blastoise, SIR Charmeleon, full art Ninetails, & Blastoise ex in mine and with the value of the pulled holo energies and promo cards, the overall value of my box was about $132.47 according to tcgplayer.
I opened a whole bunch of stuff yesterday. The UPC, alakazam box, zapdos box, an etb, mini tins, booster bundles, and i got: Venusaur ex full art, Wigglytuff Ex full art, ericas invitation sir, TWO Alakazam ex sir, charmeleon alt art, polywhirl alt art, and like 7 other cards i needed for my binder. This set has been nothing but blessings, except for the availability due to scalping and what not. Also got the bulbasaur best buy promo since i order the zapdos bundle there. But im extremely lucky i was able to even find all of that because i live in north jersey, and finding this stuff is like finding gold lmao
Hits have been all over the place with these upcs. Mine had the Charizard SIR, TWO sr psychic energies, poliwhirl IR, Mew Ex, alakazam ex , AND a blastoise ex. Literally insane pulls I didn't think my luck with 151 would ever get better than that but then just yesterday, out of 20 packs, pulled THREE SIRs, the alakazam, the giovani, and another Zard. I think I should quit while I'm ahead and not open up any more of this set LOL.
My UPC was pretty bad, I only got one AR and 2 regular EX cards which i guess count as hits but we all know what we really want out of those packs especially with a price tag over $100
Pokémon Center had this in stock. Was about to check out but watched your first pulls and got nervous. Booster Bundles are impossible to find in the UK at the moment. Great content as usual!
Anyone know if these Best Buy reviews are accurate for the 151 UPC? (see replies) I was considering buying it for nostalgia (haven't been into TCG since the early 2000's), but some people buying it for this exact reason aren't too happy. In addition to what others claim are bad pull rates and poor value overall for what you're getting.

"I can't believe I'm writing this bad of a review. I was a 90's kid who remembered how awesome it was collecting base set, jungle, and fossil cards back in 1999. After hearing about 151, I decided I'd get back into the hobby. I was upset to realize, however, that English Pokemon cards pulled straight from packs now come with a cheap feeling, bad centering, whitening (what?), faded printing, and all sorts of other marks. None of these issues exist with Japanese Pokemon cards, where 99% of cards pulled straight from packs would grade as a PSA 10. English is another story, and another nightmare, if I'm being frank. When you're paying this kind of money for cardboard cards, you would at least expect that brand new cards out of packs would be in mint condition most of the time. I pulled a Charmander illustration rare out of mine that literally has faded text on it, as if the printer ran out of ink halfway through. I bought the UPC for the gold Mew card, and I was distraught when I discovered that mine had red marks on the top border. What trash... I paid $120 and I get damaged promo cards and rares? It's not even acceptable. I am done with English cards. Pokemon, you have a lot of work to do in order to improve the quality of these cards to an acceptable level. It's almost a joke, because you usually don't even get your money back when you open these products, and if you do actually happen to pull one of the rare cards, it's damaged most of the time! After the charizard vs celebrations video you did and now this I will probably keep my upc sealed and hope maybe if keeps its value. Seems like a waster of money. I got the charizard upc at release and didnt open it till months later and the best card I got was a gold worth about 20. I really just wanted the promos and I feel with time they will be as cheap as the charizard ones.
1 full art and 2 ex bulk cards in each of my upcs... it honestly should be illegal to sell a 130$ product and put such garbage pulls. Pokemon should fix that because I get it with ETBS but UPCS? Come on
I'm so disappointed with my UPC. I got a full art Jynx and a Zapdos EX, that was it! I got awful holos too. I got 3 Raichus, 3 beedrills, 4 flareons, a weezing and an electrode. Never going to buy a UPC again. Terrible pull rates
151 seems to be a tough set for a lot of people. Kind of sucks considering the theme of the set and the fact that it's getting a lot of people back in to collecting/buying pokemon cards.
So, I don’t know if this qualifies for a “God pack” but it’s at least a busted pack. I pulled the special illustration rare Blasty, full art bubblegum Mew and special Illustration rare bulbasaur in one pack! Anybody else get anything similar?

Dude I just opened my UPC and got absolutely hosed. Only 1 regular charizard EX and regular Blastoise EX. That’s it… that’s actually it Note - it also came from the Pokémon Center

It was not only you there’s just one or 2 UPC per case that have good hits unfortunately you grab the bad ones next time buy the case good luck

Hits were less than what the average seems. Overall it seems like good value for the upc with the 3 promos and 16 packs.
Now I don't want to open mine after seeing these hits. Hopefully box 2 is better.
