Hello! I am new to digital painting as I am to IbisPaintX. I wonder why everytime I do the coloring part, unlike you as I have seen in your videos, the color goes on TOP of the line (so for example, the hair strain will looks like it got erased by the hair color). On your videos, even when you do the shadow after coloring it goes UNDER the line so it don't get the initial line messy. How do I do that? Also, when I use the bucket tool, the initial line will get thinnier and the hair strain didn't really shows. How do I fix that? Hi! Are you aware of layers features in the app? If not then I'll try to explain in short...you can imagine layers to be transparent sheet of plastic...you can draw in new and different layers...so i keep the lineart layers on top and paint underneath...if it's too confusing...you can go through my layers tutorial video! I hope that helps:)
Great question! In that case I'd fill the colour in the darkest shade of blue/grey/brown. Any of these colours will work! Then add blacks to the darkest parts for shadows! I hope it helps:))

So if you were gonna do black hair, would you make the fill color a few shades lighter than actual black so the hair lines and outlines stand out?
