Wow! I love everything about it. This is exactly how I would upgrade a regular Rubicon. Now all I would need to do is get the windows limo tinted 5% and I'm good.
I just ordered my wrangler rubicon 392 comes with the fox shocks. Really can’t think of anything I will need to add that jeep hasn’t already covered. Only some cosmetic stuff like someone mentioned tint and maybe some vinyls to make it my own. Super excited about the jeep don’t think I will have any complaints.
No need for modification, right out of the gate with the Rubicon with extreme Recon package. On the Jeep website, I built and priced one of these at $56,160. I left off the creature comforts, like leather seats and 8.4" infotainment system. I just focused on functionality.
As for the tail gate. Dude....you’re lifting the spare tire if you swing up. I think it’s gotta swing to the side due to weight As for fuel economy, if you’re worried, get a Tesla and spend your time at Starbucks with the other snowflakes And yes, I have a Rubicon
Hey! hey hey hey whoa there partner... I resemble that remark AND I have a TESLA!!! and now adding a rubicon E/R .. THIS "snowflake" wont melt, Ski? yeaaa.....! baby I have the tesla for the F.A.S. FUN-as-shit factor, NOT the tree hugger factors. AAAND I HATE Kawfee..:)
One thing you do not talk about this the axles. The extreme recon have beefier axles and thicker tubes. This is also a huge benefit for the XR package. You leave out so much info on your review
I am going to order the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon with the Xtreme Recon Package. I drove the JL Sahara and I liked how it rode. The dealer did not have a Rubicon to test drive. A TH-camr mentioned that she could not lock the rear door of her Jeep Sahara. Is the rear door lockable on the 2021 Rubicon?
You can now order 488 gears which works evn better with 35s but are great for 37s or 38s ss well.. Unfortunately this jeep is now called the Rubicon X. and now cost 95 tax included in Canada. Kinda crazy
Nice review, but you ramble on and on. Work on shortening your scripts and get you point across. This could have been 4 or 5 min. tops. Other than that, good stuff👍
No, not worth the money. The JL Rubicon can already fit 35s so save yourself $2,500 by just getting your own 35s for $1,500 with a road hazard warranty. "But it comes with Mopar bead lock wheels." They are actually bead lock "capable" wheels and will cost you an additional $700 per wheel to make them true beadlocks. They are also heavy, and have a terrible width and backspace. "But it comes with a tailgate support." The JL tailgate is actually improved over the JK design and can easily handle a 35" tire without the Mopar support. In fact, the stock JL tire carrier is actually adjustable for 35" tires. "But the lift is 1/2" taller than the stock Rubicon." The extra 1/2" is not needed for 35s, is too short for 37s, and so all it does is raise the center of gravity adding more body roll when turning corners. "But it comes with 4.56 axle ratios." The stock Rubicon 4.10 with an 8 speed auto is more than enough for 35s. 4.56 with 35s will give a little more power off the start but will raise the RPMs on the top end taking away passing power. If you own a Jeep do you want better 0-60 time or better passing power when on the freeway with the Jeep loaded with gear? "But it comes with fender and rear light extensions." About those....they are ugly and an obvious last minute DOT compliance band-aid. One more thing to note, the extra $4,000 for the Xtreme pacage will just increase your sales tax when you buy it and your future registration cost vs just getting a stock Rubicon and then adding 35" tires to it.
Please! No power tail gate, are you crazy? Bro, the less electronic motors and the simpler the vehicle, the longer it lasts, the cheaper it is to fix, and the less things can go wrong with it. Just stop it, stop it with the fucking overuse of technology, jeez!
The 4.56 gearing from factory is the biggest pro in my opinion
Most definitely!
If only you could get it with a manual trans

Tints are a must have!
Ordered the Willy’s with the Recon package. Can’t wait till it arrives. Best bang for the buck.
Willys come with a locker ?
@@striperking6083only the new 2024’s come with a rear locker
@Lando452 I always thought the Willys should have a rear locker .
My 2015 Willys came only with a LSD and aggressive mud tires .
Jeep is only doing this because of the Bronco Sasquatch package….
Need to stay competitive somehow lol
Yes. Absolutely. 😂😂😂
The Bronco is basically Ford copying Jeep

You're going to love that thing!! That's what makes Jeeps JEEPS, you can make them into your style.
@@EverythingCarReviews I can’t wait! I keep watching videos on TH-cam to get my fix lol

That's one of the good things about it but people will still argue that it's not that great of a package. I think its smart what Jeep did.
@@EverythingCarReviews that what the Rubicon is built for, to be off road capable right off the lot.

This is just a pros vs cons video. I did a full review on it mentioning all of that :)
The Xtreme Recon has the same axles as the stock Rubicon.
Con...the recon with 35" only comes with the mild-hybrid V6, not the diesel.
YES!
I have had mine for a month now. They really should have put Fox shocks on it. That’s my only complaint about it.
Agree with you on that!
@@EverythingCarReviews where do you get these Fox shocks? there a part or model number?
What’s the difference between Recon shocks and Fox shocks ?

It could have been an issue with her. This one is lockable.

Should’ve made the 392 more affordable
Definitely!

What happened to the hood scoop and dual exhaust with bronze emblem?
My biggest problem and scare the tires rubbing on the wheel wells when off roading.
Unless you've modified it yourself, no factory-stick Wrangler will "rub".
@@crispbacon5806 ok thanks
Of course.

Now make that Recon Package available in the 2 door!
That would be the best lol
Yes, 2-door please! I would order one tomorrow.
Might come next year with the mid life redesign of the JL

Should consider a different title.. this is just a normal pro and cons Jeep Wrangler video

It opens that way already!
