Did it on the 7th attempt! Thank you very much The secret is to hit the fog light and trip button very quickly after the ignition has been pressed - while the jaguar logo is still on the screen.

Hi bud, appreciate the videos! I'm about to do my own service on my XF, however there is no service light as im doing it early, was only done 3k miles ago. Do I still reset the service mode or shall I just wait till I get the message in the future and then reset it? Thank you

@chanogeezy6022 nope tpms was because we changed rims with newer jag rims. The airbag light is the driver chair seat belt. They have to remove the chair to reveal the issue
You're welcome. I guess it's a vain attempt at keeping them serviced by Jaguar dealerships. The only thing I paid the extra for a Jaguar dealership to do was the cambelt change.
I have a 2013 3.0 AWD version and I can get it to go into the "Resetting Service Mode", but even after holding the buttons down for 3 min it never went into "Service Mode Reset". Any ideas?
The key is when your first press the fog button keep pressing it while then ADDITIONALLY pressing the ignition button. Then, within 3 seconds after releasing both, press the trip and fog button together and hold until it says about service mode reset. The last step may mean you keeping the fog and trip buttons pressed for about 15 seconds.

Just fill the filter before reconnecting it...no priming required
