lol theyre pretty much sensors that press into the drumhead and they hook up to a v drums module or trigger module and when the module is hooked up to a monitor(speaker) and the drum is hit, a programmed sound will come out through the monitor. so it basically turns a regular acoustic drum into a v drum. and you can set it to high sensitivity so that no matter how fast you go, you can always hear the drum being hit crystal clear instead of it turning into low-end mush.. hope that explains all:)
well i only got it yesterday lol but i bought ddrum pro acoustic trigger for about au$90 so like 75 US.. and im running it through my pc via line6 guitarport (i have no idea how much that is cuz it was a gift to my dad)and connecting it up with guitar leads.. if that diesnt work we have some sort of midi input device that i'll use.i havent had a chance to fully set it up yet but i'll let ya know and post up a video once i do. peace outttt
badass sound check, you could see jon struggling, it isn't really his forte' this genre. id like to see inferno try entities or knee deep or even the uncoverable altered from catechezation
drummiebear, you do need triggers if your going that fast. the mechanics of a pedal wont allow to be as loud as YOU may think you are. you wont have alot of power behind everystroke, the pedal cant come back and hit the head that fast. the distance of the beater is shortaned by the speed you are going. believe me you do need triggers to even out your sound.
Yes. But really Inferno is all about blast beats and such. He took the simplest form of death/black metal drumming and made it faster, which is hard for anyone that isn't used to doing that for 15+ years. It's hard to keep up with that speed. Definitely not Charn's style.
lol sounds like you dont really know what triggers are... who knows what foot style he uses but pretty much any drummer that plays double kick uses triggers.. there just like microphones but different and i cbfed explanin lol
Holy damn!!! dude Jon Rice is a freakin beast...all day long!!! everyday of his life!!! and to even get close to freakin inferno takes maaad amounts of skill. jon rice, inferno and tim yeung best drummers by far!!
@cormier666 He's not being a prick he's just tellin him whats goin down...But in terms of blasting ther is no beating infernos blasting...No way not the stamina or endurnce the sheer speed makes ears bleed not to mention the rest of behemoth following his blasts. Your ears will innevitably bleed
And he is again with the summer US 2017 tour.
It's crazy how much better he has gotten. He now filled in for behemoth live and toured with them and played effortless and perfect
LMAO at "IT'S SO HARD!!"!! Understatement of the year....
2:05
haha
"ITS SO HARD!"

I think Jon stepping in and drumming for Behemoth really elevated his drum skills 🤔and sharpened up his techniques. Awesome 👌🤘🤘

Now that he's quit JFAC, maybe he can fill in for Inferno again?!
He filled in for Inferno last night! :)
god damn right, you're nostradamus xD
Holy damn!!! dude Jon Rice is a freakin beast...all day long!!! everyday of his life!!! and to even get close to freakin inferno takes maaad amounts of skill. jon rice, inferno and tim yeung best drummers by far!!

@cormier666 He's not being a prick he's just tellin him whats goin down...But in terms of blasting ther is no beating infernos blasting...No way not the stamina or endurnce the sheer speed makes ears bleed not to mention the rest of behemoth following his blasts. Your ears will innevitably bleed

Inferno hurt his neck. If I remember correctly he was at a doctor or something, getting it looked at.
@TheKoKeX666 He had hurt his neck. He was seeing a doctor, I believe.
Jon>Inferno
