ME...Greg Walls is the Lead guitar.................this was probably 1980 or 1981......Bayside Queens Studio on Northern Blvd doesn't exist any more. Wrong picture up there....lol This is Greg Walls, Neil Turbin, Scott Ian Rosenfeld, Danny Lilker, Dave Weiss......The tremolo dive bombs are Scott Ian Rosenfeld.
I love how clearly the bass comes thru on the mix. Total Iron Maiden worship right here and Neil Turbin had that voice like Paul Di'Anno too. Excellent!!!
@@duncansalyer2999 In all seriousness I love me some early American and Canadian proto thrash and thrash bands of the 70s and early 80s but NWOBHM were the originators. There would be no Anthrax were it not for the Killers album.

Turbin was the perfect vocalist for this era
it shows a heavy IRON MAIDEN influence , very cool through !!!
Dan Lilker is such an underrated bassist
Anthrax history right here!
Fucking love anthrax so much I'm so sad they get so much hate because they are an amazing metal band and they are amazing musicians
early anthrax doesn't get hate, later anthrax with that belladona ass sucks crap
I also wrote parts of these songs.
The guitar solos!!!
Never heard this before now I like
Awesomeness
Howling furries first track I have no idea what the next one is but it’s awesome
according to the description that 2nd song is called, rather simply, Hate
howling furries lol
This is great history!
Do you know if Greg Walls was playing guitar in this demo?
yes
YES
And so the prophecy begins reminds me of old Iron Maiden littt
So NWOBHM style
♥
this demo is awesome! why has this never been rereleased?
they were very influenced by raven
I can hear For the Future in Howling Furies, YEAH!!!!
So, of the American thrash bands only Anthrax and Metallica and Metal Church had demos in 1982?
Exodus too
@@johnathanmichael6717 Thx, I did not know that
Death Angel, also...And Andy Galeon, their drummer was only ten at the time.
@@danno714 Death Angel had a demo in 1982??
Немного на мэйден похоже
Early thrash metal sounds like NWOBHM
Too lead heavy... it’s distracting. Needs a chorus
lol!
Better then nwobhm way better
Sir, have you heard of SAXON?
*Iron Maiden would like to know your location*
@@duncansalyer2999 Paul Di'Anno can visit me any day!
@@agentstanley29 agreed
