The most hardworking female in nigerian music industry, yet so underrated, probably because she is not a groupie , scandal-free , drama-free, consistency, always very creative both with music and videos, you deserve more credit mama. I love this song so bad. A Congolese from Cape Town .
Exactly, what always bothers me. She is always so underated, while she is the best. Definitely, because of the reasons you mentioned. Fame in the music industry equals been a clout chaser, attention seeker, indeliberate posting of nude pictures and other bad things that doesn't portray a role model. Yemi, doesn't bother herself about those things that's why I love her so much. I pray they would look past all those negative celebrity lifestyles and give her the huge recognition she deserves
Don’t worry Yemi will get her accolades in due time. Wether they like it or not she is one of a kind, never naked, always driving a message and always consistent

In Nigeria 🇳🇬 it is a typical Igbo rhythm. This just goes to show that we are all one people. God bless Africa and God bless Yemi Alade + Vtek. 🙌 🙌❤❤🌍🌍.

I really love this song. It's telling my story. My dad got married two years ago to have a male child. He abandoned my mum and I, am yet to even hear the lady is pregnant to think of having a male child. Children are blessing, no matter the gender. Africans should stop gender discrimination.
The idiocy of this silly act, is that these men fail to realise they're the only ones who can donate the male child chromosomes to a pregnancy. A woman only has female child chromosomes, so makes no difference if men marry 100 wives, the ability to bear male kids will always depend on the mam. SMMHHHH!!!!
Years ago they told me that my father wanted a male child no a female as I am. Today Yemi gave me that conviction that I can make it in my life. Thank you for this song
I watched this video because I saw Ada ameh here, in this video yemi alade gave her the joy of a motherhood and her late daughter 1 year memorial was just last month I think, I just want to say thank u to yemi alade for doing this for her God bless u 😘😘😘 and is really double double for everyone...
My love for yemi no be here oo I guess this song na her true life story. Her papa na yoruba while her mama na igbo, more Blessing and grace mama Africa 💞💞

Thank you for this Song Yemi. I am sure a lot of people watching this find it very relatable. A child is a child no matter what sex. All we pray is that every child fulfill his or her destiny.
My mother has 3 girls and is always saying she wants us to get married so she can have a son like other people. This song really brought tears to my eyes 🥰🥰🥰
The storyline could be about Yemi's upbringing as her mother is Igbo and Father is Yoruba. the video is of an Igbo Woman who had a daughter and is married to a Yoruba man (the woman in the red hair tie called him Ofe Manu meaning Oily soup as yoruba people tend to, in the eyes of SOME igbo people, like oily food). The beginning of the video is the Woman being sent out of the women's meeting and treated like an outcast as the community shames her for her life set up. But in the end it was the same daughter of an "Ofe Manu" that upstaged the so called Sons of the village with Grand gifts and the gifts in the Question were DOUBLE DOUBLE whatever the sons of the soil could put together. Moral of the story, God's grace will rest on anybody's shoulders be it a male or female child.
@oluwatishe hi, its a something SOME igbo people use to describe. Particularly those in the village who are ignorant. The broader igbo community that are not ignorant dont use such remarks at all.
Thanks for the explanation. I tried, but cd not quite understand the moral of the story. Very well done. So happy to see Afrakan themes; instead of always western imitations.

Beautiful! Yemi Alade style to keeping the African dressing code in her work, is awesome! I cherish her more, now she's picked Igbo culture and tradition in video 🤗❤ Igbo people continue to practice and believe in traditional practices and beliefs that date back centuries. Igbo traditional cultural wear has changed after being colonized by West and modern Europeans. But, the culture and traditional dress style is always eye-catching and very elegant look! The Igbo cultural heritage and dress style is one of the greatest... 👍👏😊❤

Those who still live in the past of always valuing a male child over a female, needs a change of mindset. My father is now enjoying the only two daughters God gave him, because the rest of us sons are busy hustling all over the place and hardly have time for him, apart from sending him his monthly allowance. But my two lovely sisters, never fail to give him attention and money that he now needs at his old age. Thank God my first two children are female and they love me die...and my son is a splitting image of myself, but I know he is going to be like me😆😆😀😀...Take care of the girlchild peeps...They stay with you, till the end.

Nwa bu Nwa. Yemi thank for always sharing our culture and traditions.
Je soutiens à tous les artistes africains qui font le combat afin que le coupé décalé ne meurt pas. Good work m'y stars
Children are blessings, no matter the gender.
So much love for you, Yemi ❤️
Beautiful! Yemi Alade style to keeping the African dressing code in her work, is awesome! I cherish her more, now she's picked Igbo culture and tradition in video 🤗❤
Igbo people continue to practice and believe in traditional practices and beliefs that date back centuries.
Igbo traditional cultural wear has changed after being colonized by West and modern Europeans. But, the culture and traditional dress style is always eye-catching and very elegant look! The Igbo cultural heritage and dress style is one of the greatest... 👍👏😊❤
@Bio Nation Point of correction, next time you want to address people unfamiliar with you, do not abbreviate words. Sorry, I decided share my own view and part of the video clip that cuts my attention and interested Me! You are free to do yours. Thank you! ✌

The igbo/edo dressing really makes her radiant. It fits her so well
It's edo.
@@seismicvertigo345 and igbo
@@Callherchi The last dress she wore was Edo. I wish artists like herself will make better distinction so that all our attires are shown properly.
J'adore ce morceau. Je peux l'écouter 20 fois successivement sans en être dégoûté. Un vrai chef-d'œuvre.

Your song got me crying 😭. Tears of joy tho. Thank God for everything
Queen Yemi of Africa. Making our continent proud. Love you
😍🥰
Those who still live in the past of always valuing a male child over a female, needs a change of mindset. My father is now enjoying the only two daughters God gave him, because the rest of us sons are busy hustling all over the place and hardly have time for him, apart from sending him his monthly allowance. But my two lovely sisters, never fail to give him attention and money that he now needs at his old age. Thank God my first two children are female and they love me die...and my son is a splitting image of myself, but I know he is going to be like me😆😆😀😀...Take care of the girlchild peeps...They stay with you, till the end.
I got goosebumps at the end of the song. Awwwww! For Adah you already have a daughter in Yemi.
I have a feeling this song conveys something personal to Yemi Alade …
Love ❤️ it. The energy is electric ⚡️
