This was the best mission, despite the obvious situation. No escape, no back up, no rescue...and no supply drops. Just a bunch of Spartans, ODST, Marines, Militia, even civilians who were left behind. With only one hope to band together and make their end memorable. No one wanted to be here, no one wanted this. Yet the enemy was dead set on Genocide and conquest. All humanity could do was adapt and prepare for the worst. And now, with the last hope gone and in the hands of another spartan on the Pillar of autumn and hopefully families safe from this devestaed world all we can do is fight. To prove a point? To stay alive? Or even just deny the enemy an easy victory? Your reason is your own and no one can judge you for it. There is only one thing left to do...fight until the end with one objective.... survive. Thanks for making this! I love Lone wolf, Halo Reach is my favorite game with the spartan customization, story, and scenery. Noble team was a fun bunch to fight with, im glad someone to this day sitll gives the game the love and respect it deserves.
This level always reminded me of the battle of Stalingrad. Although that Pelican at 1:25 could have been a great getaway vehicle! XD It'd be cool to have a sort of breakout and/or stealth-exfiltration mission on this map. All Covenant patrols are too strong to survive more than one encounter, and the mission is to escape into the hills like Hiroo Onoda on Luban Island between 1945-1974.
Awesome video from the best Halo game. Noble 6's last stand was always a vibe as "the last man on Reach", but it was always a shame how the last stand of the regular troops and civilian irregulars was never covered.
not necessarily, the covenant focused their glassing efforts on the mayor population centers and military installations. In the books they say they left some areas of Reach intact because of the forerunner artifacts. I could see some survivors hiding in the planet's poles/artic circle, Not so many though.
Me ODST Sargent: to live and fight another day my brothers and sisters Now let’s send these aliens freaks to hell if we’re going down there going down with us I’m I right marines Edit: let’s be real this is what the lone wolf level should of been instead of YOU/US being the last survivor there should have been a few marines odst and civilians left in this area where they make their final stand with you/us until their is no one left standing
Yup missed opportunity, atleast one marine squadron protecting civilians or something and then the dialogue hits “Marine :Hey look a spartan!! Civilian: that means helps coming right ? Line wolf: it’s just me… Civilian : OH GOD OH GOD (Objective: survive….) Marine : boogies incoming !! , you grab a weapon and take as many as you can Civilian: shi shi shid shi!!! Marine :shut your trap your leather neck today soldier !! Grab that weapon and cover the left side !! Like litterly having a few marines scatter with a chance to encounter atleast you know
This doesn't happen because it has already happened. That is to say, the bodies around you were fighting alongside you beford Lone Wolf starts. You're just all that's left when they all die.
They were actually dead by the time the Autumn made it into orbit, you can see warthogs and Scorpions fighting off the covenant in this area from over the cliff
I can see it now,the pillar of autumn is leaving orbit and a mish mash battalion of Army, naval, marine personnel are Holding this shipyard. Ad hoc command centers established, trenches dug emplacements set, Soldiers equipped with whatever can be scavenged or what's on their backs, Probably more weapons and bullets than bodies to use them at this point. Rules of engagement thrown to the wind and chain of command only maintained as a symbolic gesture, Some poor Lieutenant or colonel desperately trying to use a handful of ship ensigns and upper enlisted to Maintain a semblance of control.Field medical tent would be rough. those unable to fight are treated, those who can shoot get a bandaid and get sent out. A corpsman is trying his damndest to make a couple of civilian doctors and army medics triage some 100 something wounded. Spartans interspersed amidst them, veritable gods of war shoulder to shoulder with the rank and file to the bitter end. I like to think whoever assumed command of the covenant forces chose not to glass the holdout. That these humans were so steadfast and defiant that they saw mankind's worth that week that we would not go sweetly into that deep night, not easily atleast.
I can legitimately picture some elite shipmasters watching this from orbit or afar in the outskirts of the battlefield. Sending wave after wave of their troops to eradicate the humans, not using vehicles or air support as an honor gesture. _The planet fell, before those men did....yet, even with their world set ablaze and their fleet reduced to molten metal....they stood their ground defiant to the bitter end....even when their last hope slipped away from Particular Justice....if only the Hierarchs could set aside their strange and mysterious schemes and visit the frontlines for once....they could at the very least recognize Humans for what they are and what they could have been.... a fine addition to our covenant_ _May the gods grant these souls the mercy they were denied in life by our hands...These men earned their path to paradise....Heretics or not..._
Not that its a big deal, but ive NEVER heard any swearing in any halo game and i could've sworn i heard a NPC trooper say "that was too fucking close" at around 1:07
Why are covenant ground forces still on the ground? Why dont they just glass the planet and kill the survivors that way? Are the covenant looking for something?
kinda, they may have been still searching for forunner artifacts before glassing the whole planet. though it does look like the area around the place where they're fighting has been glasses which is something the covenant often do, instead of glassing the whole place they just destroy important stuff and heat up the atmosphere to make it hostile to live on, at least for a while.
this is it,is the End.........But there will be another time.

Ngl everytime I watch your Trooper firefight videos I am ALWAYS listening to Breaking Benjamin.
I hope I'm not the only one.
Until The End is a really good fit here!

Escape from Reach...that would be a nice mod idea
This would've been so popular if it was released back 2008-2011 ❤
7:12 nice dodge. bro would've been pulverized to a red mist
This gameplay brings such a crazy level of grit, drama, and chaos that the normal game never had.
Awesome video from the best Halo game.
Noble 6's last stand was always a vibe as "the last man on Reach", but it was always a shame how the last stand of the regular troops and civilian irregulars was never covered.
Rest in peace to those who fell for humanity…
With hindsight, I’d rather die on Reach then escape with the Autumn. I have a better chance on Reach then on 04 😭
lol that was just what I said in a previous video XD
Unless you were at castle base you got wiped out by covies or the ecologic collapse from the glassing
not necessarily, the covenant focused their glassing efforts on the mayor population centers and military installations. In the books they say they left some areas of Reach intact because of the forerunner artifacts.

Also on Installation 04, the flood is gonna eat you alive.

ur right the guy did say that
I just imagined some poor dude getting scolded by his CO for swearing while he's getting shot at by grunts and jackals
yea in this mod the marines swear alot more often. even without mods in some rare cases marines do swear.
1:01:27 YOOO is that my mod HRP in the background?? I recognize my work
*_Foreshadowing?_*
@@pvt.jonwallace damn bro I really gotta push through an update soon then. I got a TON of new stuff ive made and am working on
@@siegebreakeriiiBro you should add in some allies to LW that don't respawn for an epic battle like this one
Now what you gunna do start making another halo story I bet you can think of something cool and I can’t wait to see it ❤😂
29 years old lol I remember when all but CE came out and have played all but one. Some how I have never played Reach. I think it’s time I change that.
Do it!!
_Finish the fight_
@@pvt.jonwallace aye sir! 😭🫡
Do it, brother, do not forget those who have fallen.
Remember Reach.
REMEMBER REACH.

Wow I’ve never this before! Is this a mod or something?
It's a mod
A Halo Reach mod that allows you to play firefight as a regular infantryman
Hey there is a new map for this, it is on the beachhead.
6:48 Thinking about tea bagging, huh? Give into your temptations.
Marines crouch to mourn their fallen ingame...
@@pvt.jonwallace I always assumed you did that as in to take the dogtags of your fallen buddies. Cool roleplay anyways.
It's so insanely desperate like the last version. Like the space marine 2 of Halo 😢
Ok merci
