I am Nephi Acaling. I am native to Bacolod City but currently living outside the Philippines due to job assignment. I’ve lived in different countries like Singapore, Japan and United States due to job assignments. I was in the US when I started this channel thus the confusion to some where I am truly based.
At a time, I was a band vocalist performing every Friday and Saturday night at a local bar chain but recently decided to quit from my band to focus on my TH-cam Channel and my full-time job as an engineer.
I was a member of the Filipino Voice Symphony where I was taught by professional chorale singers (e.g. former soprano from UP Madrigal Singers). Our choral group actually bagged the Gold Medal in the International A cappella Championships held in Singapore in 2011.
I was the Glee Club president and was a trainer for various singing competitions when I was in the university - all these were humbling experiences for me.
WHAT IS THE GOAL?
Find that greater purpose in life than just to be happy. Happiness in life is more meaningful if we choose to be useful, be honorable, be compassionate, and make a difference.
My mission is to promote music among different regions and try to make people from different countries relate to each other through music and singing. I have always believed that even small gestures in understanding similarities and differences towards others may actually lead to greater awareness about countries and their people.
In this modern world full of things that divide humanity, it is but perfect to put efforts in re-uniting and building bridges among all of us.

* She's pretty good in term of Low Note & Mid Note. (Dayang struggle a little bit when she hit High Note but her pitch still on point. Well it's normal because her voice is Alto.
* Her tone is very unique & sexy.
* Her live version always far better than recording.
* She love to do Melisma, Runs & Riffs.
* Nice Dynamic.
This song won the Best Ballad category for AJL. Back then AJL have Ballad, Pop Rock and Ethnic category. They will choose one best song for each category and the overall winner (Juara Lagu) will be awarded from any of the category winner unanimously. A superb vocal performance by Liza Hanim (Andainya Aku Bersuara) has inspired the production to introduce Best Vocal the following years and was won by none other Liza Hanim (Gelisah Mimpi) herself making her the first winner of Best Vocal in AJL.
Seandainya Masih Ada Cinta or (SMAC) was her breakthru hit and signature song back then in 2001
She was just 20 years old here and sounded so pro!!

Dayang Nurfaizah in 'short hair' style... Indeed like in her MV of this song, her hair style is too short compared to the live version of #AJL2001 performance... Maybe at that time, she want to try and find her 'unique identity' which is different than the other female singers...
