This looks like a very fun ride. Vekoma in general seems to be influenced by those snappy turns. The theming looks incredible, on top of the scenery surrounding the ride.
What i love about your reviews is how you stay true to your other ones. When you describe the elements of coasters that i have ridden, i can really imagine how the coasters that i havent ridden yet ride like due to your description of the forces. And when i get to ride it its always accurate I activly avoid some of your videos to not get spoilers x)
Fønix is the familyfriendly, more rerideable version of Lech Coaster, not far away from Vekomas masterpiece in Poland. :) I liked it a lot a few months ago. Looks beautiful (like the whole park), delivers good airtime in a mix of cool inversions and hops. Perfect addition to Farup!
Great review! I really like this coaster, and i do think it gives ejector airtime on a good amount of its hills and the drop in the back, even though it is some weaker ejector. Also thank you for always making honest reviews, and appreciating each coaster for what it is, even if it isnt top 50 or even top 100 worthy. And please keep going through the layout element by element, that helps alot in creating an idea of how a ride runs! Again fantastic video, like always
@Canobie Coaster That is possible, it was warmer when i went. If not that, then we just have different definitions of Ejector and Floater. To me, ejector is when you get launched out of your seat. And i still call that ejector, even if its weaker

Most of the moments you described as floater are undoubtedly ejector to me; especially the bunny hills and the drop. It's not RMC strength, but you are launched decently out of your seat, I reckon. But of course, all opinions differ! And it's been great finally getting yours! 😁
It looks like a very fun ride. As much as I love them, I'm totally on board with the notion that not every coaster needs to pummel you with forces and airtime. The stall loop looks great, can't wait to try the one that will be on Circuit Breaker!

Hey, I reached your chanel from theme park crazy and I really enjoy your videos. I totally agree to your arguments from Fårup, I was there at the opening day and it is such a smothe coaster for this theme park.
While I definitely agree that it is far from Lech Coaster, I have to disagree on something: Fønix has ejector airtime. And a lot of it too. Most bunny hops, the drop, camelback and heart line roll were definitely ejector on my rides. Not super hard -2G ejector, but they kicked me out of my seat fast. And I rode it on opening day, so it should run even better by now.

It seems like Vekoma are finding a niche in coaster market with rides like this and Abyssus that provide a combination of airtime and inversions but aren’t as intense as something like an RMC
Hey, Canobie Coaster! I could see some Vekoma Wildcat models open in the United States. These rides can go to Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, Lake Compounce, Lost Island Theme Park and Kentucky Kingdom.
That hangtime on the first inversion is different and shows that this is definitely a more tame Lech Coaster, for that reason, I'd much prefer Lech Coaster but this is still cool. It's like RMC elements and hills and stuff but taken more gracefully.
As a someone from Denmark, this is a very nice coaster to have. Although i definitely prefer islands of adventure Florida or universal studios Florida, for instance the hulk, velocicoaster, hagrids. All in all i agree with ur assessment. Keep up the great work 👍

Friggin love Vekoma and their new smoothness. Words I still can't believe I am saying in my lifetime. B&M are now Vekoma of old. They have retracked 2 steel coasters and made them worse and look at iron menace, they have lost the plot. Rattle fests and now even jolts. Eek.
but fønix at fårup has a backstory, its meant to be a new ride they came out the ashes like a phoenix and the ashes is the corona virus they made huge dent in the parks sales, it is overused fårup just used the name in a better way

Phoenix is a pretty popular name for a roller coaster it’s not a bad name but I think it’s getting a bit overrated and overused
