Is Blitz necessary for stealth-based characters? It just seems.. weird to me. I haven't tried using it, but I feel like it would take away from the challenge of actually sneaking up on an enemy.
+CommissarKozlov In my opinion it is very useful for gap closing when you might other wise be discovered. you are right it does kinda make sneaking up on the kinda easy but some times you need it. and its not like you need to use it every time you fight.
I've just level 50'd this build and I have enjoyed every moment of it. I made it my own with a few clothing and hairstyle mods. I replaced pickpocket with Mr Sandman and I've had such fun with my Assassin. Thank you Fudgemuppet for making this video and please continue your hard work ^_^

@@justj5580 use some crits? pop psychobuff for 25% more damage and a str boost, make sure you nail that sneak attack where they're vulnerable, blitz helps. and honestly i'd suggest going for high str, too, rooted is a fantastic buff and +5 more strength is like 50% more melee damage, too, i'm about to start my sneak melee, and it'll be starting with 4 str, but every time i get a level i'm not pumping some perk with (which, admittedly won't happen till i'm in my 20s at least) i'll be slowly putting it in str to get more melee dmg and rooted. not specifically for you, i assume you've more or less worked it out, but more for others that also thought the same thing. also, do bring some weapons. hell, one stealth build brought land mines, could do something like that: anything really big you don't want to fuck with too much, drop some landmines, back up, maybe shoot the thing (or just in the air) to make it walk near the landmines either blowing itself up or you could shoot the landmines in vats for extra damage, with the rank 3 demolitions expert thing.
This is my all time favorite build. I've played this so many times over and over and even when I want to do another build, I always end up coming back to the assassin. it's the perfect build.

I created your friend as a character as well. They got killed by rad roaches before making it out of the vault. They were too busy running away from them to look for more drugs.
Just finished the main quest with this built and i can only say it was amazing. [no spoilers] I found it very difficult at the beginning as the built is oriented towards sneak and not brute force. It requires a lot of quicksaving, as if you encounter a powerful enemy with high perception, your only hope is running the hell out of there. Quests should be done during nighttime for better results. As the game progresses, the most vital perks are sneak, blitz and ninja. Ninja 2 is only available at high level, and by that time you will have picked a faction nontheless. I left the Minuteman to their fate, and concentrated on getting the Ballistic Weave as soon as possible. This happened at level 28-29. By that time you are in business. Just pick a good set of armor that fancy's you and have fun. I killed an alpha deathclaw with ONE hit(having the mysterious serum inside my veins) and a legendary brotherhood general with just 3 hits with Kremvh's Tooth (witch in my opinion is the best weapon for this built). The built is fun (if you are the sneaky type) and also rewarding, as you level up pretty damn fast. Don't waste level points on unnecessary BS like luck -and everything related. Trust me on this: you can get a stealth boy, sneak behind 7-10 powerful enemies, enter VATS and kill each one with one single hit.
Dude. The backstory is so elaborate and amazing. Im glad to hear that I am not the only one that actually role plays in a role playing game like fallout.
roleplaying is one thing, but i think the backstory given by bethesda is about as boring as it gets, even their names are boring ... nate and nora who named them? marvel? i think it's much more fun pretending the whole prewar thing has not realy happened and you are just some vault dweller, born in the vault
Man, 8 years ago huh? Time really flies. I remember seeing the perk that allows you to teleport in vats with a melee in this video and being absolutely mind blown by that fact. Best build I played on FO4.
Btw guys if you're thinking of starting this build you should probably say: there's a combat knife in those random houses in concord that are slightly separated from the rest of the town, just up the hill. It's better than the switchblade that they recommended in the video; it's got more damage with the same attack speed.
One of my favourite outfits for this build is the shadowed leather armour and the BoS Officer Uniform. It looks so sick, once you get Pickpocket 4 take the uniform from Brandis. The one drawback is that you can't get Ballistic Weave on it without mods
+Nyghtking I do something to that effect only using revolvers and using Vat's for quick efficient gunplay relying on my high agility and high crit damage. Endurance really isn't necessary if you drop all of your enemies quickly and I have even less health than that....Vault 81...ugh.
This is the DEADLIEST character i've ever seen. I didn't even know about that Blitz perk, she is bad ass and I LOVE stealthy characters, i'm definitely doing a character that is similar thanks for this video you guys are just incredible.
I always like to play the stealth stabbing characters in games but it takes away the fun if you're not sneaking up to them you're just clicking on them and they're dead.
Hey guys, with any build that you are going for the armorer perk it is ALWAYS good to go 'join' the railroad and unlock ballistic weave as to unlock it you don't permanently enemy with any of the other factions. So you can basically get 220 energy and ballistic resistance for about 1/2 an hours work, which is an asset to any build.

It was so ridiculously easy to sneak in Skyrim. After I assassinated the fake Emperor, I just jumped on the table in stealth mode and the guards couldn't find me. I also didn't even use a Invisibility or Muffle spell either. 😂😂😂

I've been playing Fallout 4 almost daily for 8 and a half years and every new character has different special stats. However, as I play, I seem to always end up as a sneaky sniper without even thinking about it.
Great build as always, but I'm pretty sure Big Leagues rank 5 does actually mess up your damage and isn't just a display glitch. There are mod authors that have made note of this in mods that fix glitches. edit: I went back and tested this pretty extensively myself and it looks like the bonus damage is working properly so what I found in research seems to be wrong.
+Jeffrey Daniels Works fine for me enemies that took two to three hits now rarely survive one on my Psycho build. I also did a minor test after seeing the Raider build video while playing my Psycho, once I reached the level for Big Leagues I visited the National Guard Training yard. Using a base machete it took me 3 hits to kill the legendary ghoul, reloaded the quicksave used the perk point and tried again the Legendary died in one shot (Grandslam didn't proc).
Loving the Fallout 4 builds so far, but I've noticed something so far. All the builds leave the character socially inept, perhaps the next build could focus a bit more on Charisma? :P
+Angus MacFarlane Charisma sucks tbh, couple of perks that are worth a mention but I feel that investing heavily in Charisma just outright gimps your combat capabilities (unles you get a kick out of pacification of which you still ultimately have to kill them anyways)

I am currently doing this build, but I made some cosmetics changes that I think more sense. 1. Gave him a normal but funny name, I named him “John joe” 2. I made him look like an average man. A true assassin needs to blend in to the crowd, be unassuming, ignored, it’s exactly what a assassin what’s. 3. I would suggest railroad, cause they are all about stealth and subterfuge, just like you. 4. I got a mod that is essentially a stealth suit, it’s very good. 5. I got a pip-boy skin that’s green, which is hard to see rather than red or tan.

Kill Knight Brandis. You can incite him to attack during the quest "The Lost Patrol" by walking into his bunker without speaking to him. Don't worry, the Brotherhood doesn't mind and won't turn hostile. His unique clothing - a pitch black BOS Officer Uniform - is absolutely perfect for an assassin. Better yet, it can be worn under armour pieces. Add some Shadowed Leather over the top and you look like a techno ninja! Be warned: If you let him live and he travels to the Prydwen, his clothes change into the default BOS uniform. After that, your only chance to get his unique clothing is to use console commands.
Sadly not. I think - although I might be wrong here - the only ballistic weaved clothing that allows a full set of armour over the top is the Baseball Outfit. However, a bright white costume isn't ideal for an assassin! Anyway, for those that don't know what the black officer uniform looks like, here it is with some shadowed leather over the top. +Salfordio The brotherhood hood that Danse wears matches the color scheme of the BOS Officer uniform too. I'm fairly certain you can find one w/o killing Danse though. I wear the suit, hood, and wraparound goggles on my sniper. Looks really nice together with my plasma sniper rifle.
You should make a 'Maniac' build, where the person was driven mad, covers their face with the most crazy looking sack hood/mask, and uses a strange fighting style
Hi this is a build idea. Before you read on this will contain spoilers to main story line, you have been warred. You start off in the wasteland as a good hearted person who wants to do nothing more but find his son. You will accept any ones help in order for this to happen especially the Minutemen because they seem onset a loyal. But as you progress further through the mane story line and finally catch and kill Kellogg and you use his brain to find the Institute you become more like him a cold blooded killer. You will join the institute and become their personal mercenary and will serve your son till the bitter end. This until you snap out of your mad mind and realise that the things you are doing are wrong and so you end the institute kill your son, and become a detective for Valentine so you can help people. Fugmuppet if you choose to make this build I will be honoured and I think you can improve this build greatly.

@@Garry-y7b Best thing about this kinda build, killing all those giant mutated monsters and heavily armored raiders with a bit of pointy metal. Makes me wish there had been playstyle and weapon choice context sensitive dialogue options. Like, "Wow how the hell did you manage to kill a courser?" "Oh I took drugs and cut its head off with a combat knife."
I really like this one, but I replaced robotic expert with medic. Getting more out of your stim-packs and radaway just feels betteer. On top of that it just feels right for her to be able to stitch herself together easily.
Some Extra Tips 4 This Build: 1. CARRY A GUN, ESPECIALLY AT LOWER LEVELS, I recommend using Overseers Guardian, Deliverer, etc. I also recommend investing into Gun Nut and Science! and Rifleman, Gunslinger, etc., but depends on what guns you enjoy most with this build, PUT A SILENCER ON YOUR GUN!!! 2. Take some chems with you at lower levels, or you will get fucked up pretty bad, you can keep chems and invest into chem resistance later after level 50. 3. Take your time when using this character, only attack at the perfect moment to avoid getting killed, spotted, etc. 4. For better role playing, be threatening and professional in dialogue, basically ask the questions related to the task to have great info on a mission so you can be fully prepared. 5. Do the Diamond City Bounty’s by Moe Cronin. No pay for them, but you keep what you kill while exploring more places, and gaining better guns, armor, ammo, healing, chems, and XP. 6. I recommend a settlement or 2, treat them like safe houses. But only do them in smaller settlement areas. Such as Coastal Cottage, the one in Quincy(forgot the name), etc. or you could get Home Plate and a house mod for Goodneighbor. 7. This goes for Railroad and Institute endings, so even if you join Railroad, go to Nuka-World and join the Operators, exclusively, so you can get a Operators Sniper Rifle at the end, then upgrade to a stealthy sniper or DMR. Disciples are a option too, or you could have Operators AND Disciples. 8. If you don’t want to use Road Leathers, use Torn Shirt and Jeans from Nuka-World. 9. In Nuka-World, get a Throatslicer or any other Disciple knife. They are VERY powerful. 10. USE THE CHINESE STEALTH SUIT!!! That’s all, if you have more tips, just let me know. Thanks for reading!
I really enjoy this build and wanted to do my own spin on the assassin, having her being a fearful, scared, almost feral woman, enraged and terrified by gunshots she lashes out violently to make it stop, hating the sound of almost all guns and explosives she wants it to be quiet, but it's never quiet enough, no, there's always more noise to silence
For a better item of clothing for underarmor that matches the aesthetic better than the road leathers kill paladin brandis/pick pocket his bos officer uniform to pick pocket you will need rank 4. it's a jet black version of the regular bos uniforms and he has the only one.
It's smart to invest into pickpocketing II - the biggest thread to this build are super mutants, who can't be killed in hit by knife. But if you place a live grenade in their inventory, they die immediately. Any enemy, who has a grenade placed into his inventory, dies in a single blow, no matter how much damage the grenade deals. So don't bother wasting tactical nukes on supermutant warlords, one molotov cocktail will do. :) Anyway, awesome backstory, awesome build! Can't wait for your take on the dlc content to come!
I think the idea behind Blitz is that you're running up to them and striking. It's just that any animation that showed that would take too long and - given the uneven terrain and physics based environmental objects - cause some issues in VATs, like getting stuck on scenery.
I don't use VATS anymore. After Fallout 4, I stopped using vats in 3 and New Vegas. I've seriously used it like 3 times in Fallout 4 😂😂 Love the build, and the channel. Love from America :)

For sure like they did with their Skyrim builds. I think they are done with 4. No new builds in over a year. Pretty good run though they made Fallout 4 builds for 3 years.
question, would the throat slicer be a good alternative with the cutlass mod? cause pickmans blade only adds like .5 extra damage. plus the throat slicer has the bleeding effect aswell so, would it be a better version?
Yes im playing on very hard difficulty. 2 characters before this 1 stealth sniper and 1 gun fu deliver build. So a bit of a learning curve on playing with this build. Loving it tho lvl 10 atm

You can get a perk from the companion with the railroad for another 2x sneak attack damage plus grognaks costumes adds 25% damage so it gets insane

Btw guys if you're thinking of starting this build you should probably say: there's a combat knife in those random houses in concord that are slightly separated from the rest of the town, just up the hill. It's better than the switchblade that they recommended in the video; it's got more damage with the same attack speed.

One of my favourite outfits for this build is the shadowed leather armour and the BoS Officer Uniform. It looks so sick, once you get Pickpocket 4 take the uniform from Brandis. The one drawback is that you can't get Ballistic Weave on it without mods

+Nyghtking I do something to that effect only using revolvers and using Vat's for quick efficient gunplay relying on my high agility and high crit damage. Endurance really isn't necessary if you drop all of your enemies quickly and I have even less health than that....Vault 81...ugh.

This is the DEADLIEST character i've ever seen. I didn't even know about that Blitz perk, she is bad ass and I LOVE stealthy characters, i'm definitely doing a character that is similar thanks for this video you guys are just incredible.
I always like to play the stealth stabbing characters in games but it takes away the fun if you're not sneaking up to them you're just clicking on them and they're dead.
Put it on very hard or survival. Makes it REALLY DAMN HARD

Hey guys, with any build that you are going for the armorer perk it is ALWAYS good to go 'join' the railroad and unlock ballistic weave as to unlock it you don't permanently enemy with any of the other factions. So you can basically get 220 energy and ballistic resistance for about 1/2 an hours work, which is an asset to any build.

Great build tho. At level 17 I found myself one hitting with the knife in stealth
on very hard, you can do it with a switchblade a lvl 1 to common raifers.

It was so ridiculously easy to sneak in Skyrim. After I assassinated the fake Emperor, I just jumped on the table in stealth mode and the guards couldn't find me. I also didn't even use a Invisibility or Muffle spell either. 😂😂😂

I love using your guys fallout4 builds. I'm not creative enough to think of my own and they are useful and give me something to build towards when playing.
I've been playing Fallout 4 almost daily for 8 and a half years and every new character has different special stats. However, as I play, I seem to always end up as a sneaky sniper without even thinking about it.
I really love this build, very powerful. I'm maybe gonna try the diplomat, looks fun x) A big thank you for all the builds uploads !

Great build as always, but I'm pretty sure Big Leagues rank 5 does actually mess up your damage and isn't just a display glitch. There are mod authors that have made note of this in mods that fix glitches.
edit: I went back and tested this pretty extensively myself and it looks like the bonus damage is working properly so what I found in research seems to be wrong.
We/our friends trialed it and we have more damage with rank 5 :)

+Jeffrey Daniels Works fine for me enemies that took two to three hits now rarely survive one on my Psycho build. I also did a minor test after seeing the Raider build video while playing my Psycho, once I reached the level for Big Leagues I visited the National Guard Training yard. Using a base machete it took me 3 hits to kill the legendary ghoul, reloaded the quicksave used the perk point and tried again the Legendary died in one shot (Grandslam didn't proc).

Loving the Fallout 4 builds so far, but I've noticed something so far. All the builds leave the character socially inept, perhaps the next build could focus a bit more on Charisma? :P

+Angus MacFarlane Charisma sucks tbh, couple of perks that are worth a mention but I feel that investing heavily in Charisma just outright gimps your combat capabilities (unles you get a kick out of pacification of which you still ultimately have to kill them anyways)

Dishonored: Wasteland edition
This build has worked wonders for sneak combat. Blitz is amazing.
I am currently doing this build, but I made some cosmetics changes that I think more sense.
1. Gave him a normal but funny name, I named him “John joe”
2. I made him look like an average man. A true assassin needs to blend in to the crowd, be unassuming, ignored, it’s exactly what a assassin what’s.
3. I would suggest railroad, cause they are all about stealth and subterfuge, just like you.
4. I got a mod that is essentially a stealth suit, it’s very good.
5. I got a pip-boy skin that’s green, which is hard to see rather than red or tan.
I wish you could duel wield combat knives :(:(:(:(:(

some mods do that, but only ascetically (the dual wielded one is only for looks)

Hey guys, love the builds and "worth it" vids! Gunslinger and Assassin are my favourites. What about some sort of Hunter build? Could be a riflemen that has a deathclaw gauntlet for back up and dogmeat as a follower? Keep the builds coming, they're awesome!

Gonna try something like this build now. I love this channel so much.
Kill Knight Brandis. You can incite him to attack during the quest "The Lost Patrol" by walking into his bunker without speaking to him. Don't worry, the Brotherhood doesn't mind and won't turn hostile. His unique clothing - a pitch black BOS Officer Uniform - is absolutely perfect for an assassin. Better yet, it can be worn under armour pieces. Add some Shadowed Leather over the top and you look like a techno ninja!
Be warned: If you let him live and he travels to the Prydwen, his clothes change into the default BOS uniform. After that, your only chance to get his unique clothing is to use console commands.
Sadly not. I think - although I might be wrong here - the only ballistic weaved clothing that allows a full set of armour over the top is the Baseball Outfit. However, a bright white costume isn't ideal for an assassin!
Anyway, for those that don't know what the black officer uniform looks like, here it is with some shadowed leather over the top. Very ninja.

You could always pickpocket the clothes off him after persuading him to go back :p
You'd need max pickpocketing though... which is a total waste of perks.
+Salfordio The brotherhood hood that Danse wears matches the color scheme of the BOS Officer uniform too. I'm fairly certain you can find one w/o killing Danse though. I wear the suit, hood, and wraparound goggles on my sniper. Looks really nice together with my plasma sniper rifle.
He gives you the gun if you send him back to the Brotherhood, but overall I agree that it's best to kill him for his sweet, sweet armour.
You should make a 'Maniac' build, where the person was driven mad, covers their face with the most crazy looking sack hood/mask, and uses a strange fighting style

Hi this is a build idea. Before you read on this will contain spoilers to main story line, you have been warred.
You start off in the wasteland as a good hearted person who wants to do nothing more but find his son. You will accept any ones help in order for this to happen especially the Minutemen because they seem onset a loyal. But as you progress further through the mane story line and finally catch and kill Kellogg and you use his brain to find the Institute you become more like him a cold blooded killer. You will join the institute and become their personal mercenary and will serve your son till the bitter end. This until you snap out of your mad mind and realise that the things you are doing are wrong and so you end the institute kill your son, and become a detective for Valentine so you can help people.
Fugmuppet if you choose to make this build I will be honoured and I think you can improve this build greatly.

@@Garry-y7b Best thing about this kinda build, killing all those giant mutated monsters and heavily armored raiders with a bit of pointy metal. Makes me wish there had been playstyle and weapon choice context sensitive dialogue options. Like, "Wow how the hell did you manage to kill a courser?" "Oh I took drugs and cut its head off with a combat knife."
Kinda copied this build. Funny thing is I killed a mirelurk queen using a knife. That sneak damage is insane.

This was my first build I played because I watched fudgemuppet before I got the game
I really like this one, but I replaced robotic expert with medic. Getting more out of your stim-packs and radaway just feels betteer. On top of that it just feels right for her to be able to stitch herself together easily.

Some Extra Tips 4 This Build:
1. CARRY A GUN, ESPECIALLY AT LOWER LEVELS, I recommend using Overseers Guardian, Deliverer, etc. I also recommend investing into Gun Nut and Science! and Rifleman, Gunslinger, etc., but depends on what guns you enjoy most with this build, PUT A SILENCER ON YOUR GUN!!!
2. Take some chems with you at lower levels, or you will get fucked up pretty bad, you can keep chems and invest into chem resistance later after level 50.
3. Take your time when using this character, only attack at the perfect moment to avoid getting killed, spotted, etc.
4. For better role playing, be threatening and professional in dialogue, basically ask the questions related to the task to have great info on a mission so you can be fully prepared.
5. Do the Diamond City Bounty’s by Moe Cronin. No pay for them, but you keep what you kill while exploring more places, and gaining better guns, armor, ammo, healing, chems, and XP.
6. I recommend a settlement or 2, treat them like safe houses. But only do them in smaller settlement areas. Such as Coastal Cottage, the one in Quincy(forgot the name), etc. or you could get Home Plate and a house mod for Goodneighbor.
7. This goes for Railroad and Institute endings, so even if you join Railroad, go to Nuka-World and join the Operators, exclusively, so you can get a Operators Sniper Rifle at the end, then upgrade to a stealthy sniper or DMR. Disciples are a option too, or you could have Operators AND Disciples.
8. If you don’t want to use Road Leathers, use Torn Shirt and Jeans from Nuka-World.
9. In Nuka-World, get a Throatslicer or any other Disciple knife. They are VERY powerful.
10. USE THE CHINESE STEALTH SUIT!!!

I really enjoy this build and wanted to do my own spin on the assassin, having her being a fearful, scared, almost feral woman, enraged and terrified by gunshots she lashes out violently to make it stop, hating the sound of almost all guns and explosives she wants it to be quiet, but it's never quiet enough, no, there's always more noise to silence

For a better item of clothing for underarmor that matches the aesthetic better than the road leathers kill paladin brandis/pick pocket his bos officer uniform to pick pocket you will need rank 4. it's a jet black version of the regular bos uniforms and he has the only one.

It's smart to invest into pickpocketing II - the biggest thread to this build are super mutants, who can't be killed in hit by knife. But if you place a live grenade in their inventory, they die immediately.
Any enemy, who has a grenade placed into his inventory, dies in a single blow, no matter how much damage the grenade deals. So don't bother wasting tactical nukes on supermutant warlords, one molotov cocktail will do. :)

I think the idea behind Blitz is that you're running up to them and striking. It's just that any animation that showed that would take too long and - given the uneven terrain and physics based environmental objects - cause some issues in VATs, like getting stuck on scenery.

I don't use VATS anymore. After Fallout 4, I stopped using vats in 3 and New Vegas. I've seriously used it like 3 times in Fallout 4 😂😂 Love the build, and the channel. Love from America :)
Use the combat knife instead. It only does one more damage than the switch blade, but every hit counts 🤷♂️🤷♂️

For sure like they did with their Skyrim builds. I think they are done with 4. No new builds in over a year. Pretty good run though they made Fallout 4 builds for 3 years.
question, would the throat slicer be a good alternative with the cutlass mod? cause pickmans blade only adds like .5 extra damage. plus the throat slicer has the bleeding effect aswell so, would it be a better version?

Yes im playing on very hard difficulty. 2 characters before this 1 stealth sniper and 1 gun fu deliver build. So a bit of a learning curve on playing with this build. Loving it tho lvl 10 atm
