    Joe,
    You have created a great collection of teaching videos! Sometime in the future, I hope you will dedicate a video to connect the "journey" of preparing boxes and setting up through the acquiring of bees and propagation. The dialog you give during the presentation is a very valuable part. Not many others go into the fine skills, like handling the queen cell carefully and why they need to be kept in a verticle position when taken after the cell is capped. This kind of information is "pure gold" and is not radially available. Most of us make mistakes and have to learn these things the "hard way." I wish you well.
    Much gratitude. LP

    Your expertise is amazing, and really good to see. Thank you so much for the videos, an amazing learning tool. Your touch seems golden, and sometimes mine do not turn out as well as yours. Try as I might. Course I am older than you, and when younger I had better dexterity.

    Thanks for sharing, I found the boxes and they call them Plano Hydro-Flo StowAway 3600. I have a suggestion for a new video for an expert like you, with all the respect! What to do with a hot bee hive.

    Hei Joe, thanks for the great video!!!
    In the first method that you show with the wooden queen bank that is kept in a queenless hive, do you need to put a drop of honey in each department or the bees will feed the newly hatched vergin queens?

    Can you do this without a fancy incubator?

    Great video, when the queens hatch how do you get a queen out without the others flying or walking out also. Thanks

      They won't fly this young, If I go 15 or more hatch in one box, I usually get the granddaughter come in and help me keep an eye on them..

    Do you put the feed honey in the JZBZ cup right before they hatch? It seems if you did it too early it would dry out.

    I'm surprised there was not a layer of Hardware cloth in there somewhere Joe to keep those hatching out girls in their boxes after you open the lid LOL.

    Is it also true that if you cage the queen, they will make queen cells? I don't want to use the few resources that I have to make a new queen. But i am need of one but I have a beautiful newly made queen that I want another daughter from.

    • @LittleBitsHoneyBeesjoemay

    How well do queen work with the hive after incubators? Have have any complaints?

    • @LittleBitsHoneyBeesjoemay
      @LittleBitsHoneyBeesjoemay  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      after a cell is capped all that is needed is to keep them warm doe not matter if they are in a hive or incubator as long as they are keep 93 degrees.

    • @LittleBitsHoneyBeesjoemay
      @LittleBitsHoneyBeesjoemay  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Can't tell any difference in one hatched in incubator or hive.
