    Soooo--getting into a pod, that will *THEN* go into a tube. And if the transport pod system breaks down or malfunctions, how do you get the passengers out of the pod??

    Back to the futures image of 2005? You mean 2015 19:27

    🌸 That’s like a cross between magnetic bullet trains in Japan together with the UK & French Le Shuttle tube, interesting but it will be very expensive to make

      How long do you wear your hair? I find that feature quite stunning, describe it and how it looks on you?

    So, lets talk about how environmentally friendly lithium mining is. And how long do those batteries last. Lets look at the bigger picture, shall we.

    • @christopherespland211
      @christopherespland211 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Let’s talk about how environmentally friendly kobalt mining is, and who works to put that phone in you hands? Lithiums number 3 on the periodic table btdubs. That shit is everywhere

    • @warhorse1956
      @warhorse1956 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@christopherespland211 Agreed, however, this channel needs stop with their climate propaganda insertion into most of their videos. You'd almost think someone is paying them to blow smoke up peoples skirts.

      They have already moved on to sodium now anyway

    • @ravenwind420
      @ravenwind420 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Over the course of their lifetime the carbon footprint caused by lithium batteries is less than fossil fuel use for the same time period. Good try tho.

    • @ravenwind420
      @ravenwind420 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Christopher Espland you do know that the numbers on the periodic table isn't based on how common the element is right?

    @0:30 Musk is one of many inventors, dating back a hundred or more years ago, designing a vacuum tube transport pod.

      Wait, we had the technology 100 years ago to even CONSIDER depressurizing an entire tunnel of that size? I wouldn't have thought that would be possible in the 1900s-1920s, letalone the 20th century at all. Hell, in the 21st century we still aren't finished with the design, and applying a hyperloop system on a global scale would be damn near impossible if we don't stop randomly spending 300k to take down a "spy balloon".

    Flying planes are a thing of the future, after we develop a much better battery, and much more electric generation. As of today yes we can have lil toys for short hops but that’s it.

    I dont get why everyone hates or is afraid of electric powered vehicles, do people think there weren't drawbacks when gas cars were early in their making? Obviously it will take some time to work out the kinks of electric vehicles but people don't think about that do they

      Electric cars have been around for over a hundred years. They have advantages and disadvantages, it has taken a lot of subsidies to persuade companies and customers to buy them. They are ideal for short distance travel though.
