I love how into this song Ariel gets. You can tell she's really passionate about the message.
this is one of the many reasons I love this band! they aren't afraid of others opinions, I'm so happy that they quit their label and are putting faith in their fans tbh. love this, so empowering

for whatever reason, i thought i wouldn't like ifh. but today, i decided to look up a bunch of their songs. they're underrated; i don't see why they're not more well-known. i'm definitely going to watch their set at warped now. and for anyone complaining about this song, she just tells it like it is. i don't see anything wrong with that.
She's so nice to their fans in fact ever one in the band is so sweet to the fans, no words to describe how amazing they are and they stay at their tent almost the whole day.
Mack Williamson yeah, they definitely seem like nice people. i'll be sure to stop by their tent.
natalie rose Mack is dead on about them. They are some of the most genuine people you will ever meet. All of them including Josh are so down to earth, and take time to chat with everyone that comes up to them. I can not sing their praises enough lol. Through hanging out with them after shows and going above and beyond to support them and help them any way I can has allowed be to build actual friendships with them, and they are some of the best friends anyone could ask for!
Richie Herlinger they definitely seemed like it. though i didn't get to meet them at warped, i did watch their set (which was great). i'll have to catch them again sometime.
Songs like this is why they're not more well known. Just because we think it's amazing and real doesn't mean the rest of the world does. Think about it, do you think our popular music industry would really appreciate this dose of reality?

Jojo Malone not every band at warped does. but its because they were incorrectly labeled as a "christian band".
Chris Adam they used to play Christian festivals in fact I met them at one called Kingdom Come Festival and the guys gave their testimonies so they were a Christian band they just sort of walked away from it

Matthew Walker They were actually never a Christian band, just a band with a positive message that appealed to ALL religions and the non religious alike. They've always had this side in them, they just wasn't allowed to show it being on a Christian label, they were forced to change lyrics and what not to keep the label happy, but now that they are free, they are making the music that THEY want to make, with no more restriction.

I saw them perform this live and I've seen a couple videos of them performing this song and it's usually great but something about this performance just seems off. Maybe the band was just really exhausted from touring all summer. Anyways, they put their all into it and it's still pretty awesome.

Ariel, I hope you read this, I'm a huge fan. Anyway I was wondering, now that it's 2015 and society is changing as always, what exactly is it like to be a girl in the music world, I feel like it's a question nobody cares enough to ask nowadays.
Duuuuuuude. Last time I listened to IFH, they were doing things a little different that made em stick out. Now.... well, they're independent badasses making Main Stage at Warped and kicking ass, and I'm definitely gonna watch their set this year.

i have their spotify playlist on constant repeat. the closest comparison I can make for them is a blend of No doubt, Paramore and Evanescence, with a dash of Nikki Minaj thrown in for fun. The hooks are ridiculously infectious. they keep the songs relatively short. I mean come on... 2 FULL 10 plus song albums, and the COMBINED playtime (including the new single) tops out at 75 minutes max I think.
sugar and spice, and this song could quite likely get airplay on hip hop stations. Fix Me, The Grey and Only a Memory would likely go top 20 or higher on pop radio IF they got played. rock and roll thugs and make a move have teenage anthem written all over them.

Guitar is dubbed on this one... he may have played it in the studio, but not on this stage...
Can't hear the keys and background beyond the drums, kind of hurts the performance. I love the song and the message and the vocals are solid but you notice the crowd doesnt really get into it til there's guitar riffs to go with

Because these people are stupid. They praise shit "musicians" (if we can even call them that way), saying "Ohogd you btch how dare u say this bout Miley shes so misndrstd omg she made a song bout brokn hart an ur stoopid idls make shit bout n for mony", while IFH and other underestimated bands touch subjects like depression, self-harm and other more serious things. Most of the people praising shit *want* to hear about money and all that things that run the world these days, and when they hear a song about dealing with depression or something that really annoys people (like Three Days Grace's songs (not that their songs annoy people, the ex frontman stated himself that he prefers to write a song about shit that gets on your nerves)) they automatically assume that the writer is a 9 year old depressed emo guy who had an argument with his parents. I hate that people ignore the problems we're all dealing with, thus ignoring the good artists, when Rihanna's song about "bitch better having her money" is praised by people. I wish I lived in different times, really.

Liquid Edits Have you actually SEEN them live? Because it's stupid to base that statement on watching a video on TH-cam. They are actually incredible live, and if you think Ariel can't sing, maybe you should get your ears checked, because there are thousands of people who disagree with you, and we can't all be wrong!
