Awesome reels for rhe money !!!!! And mega drag
Yes they are a good value reel for the price paid
Cool first look. I've been VERY interested in picking up their Speed Demon "fastest" spinning reel. I think it has the same retrieve as this bait caster version. I prefer using spinning reels, as that is what I used growing up. Having a spinning reel that retrieves at the same speed sounds amazing.
Thanks again Denis!
Their speed demon high speed is actually 10:1 where this Deadbolt is 7.4:1. regardless, that is a pretty fast reel - I will see if I van get a "high Spreed" one for review - Dennis
@@2ndChanceTackle That's right! It's even faster than I thought. It really makes me want to pick it up...and put some serious braided line on it for fishing bass from cover or using hula poppers or other top waters around heavy lily pads. Seems like it'd be an amazing reel for that sort of fishing.
CastKing's were junk about 10 years ago but they have greaty improved since then.
They certainly have
I have my first speed demon and its goin strong and has rook on some 28 inch snook...spinning
Great to hear! Thanks
When I first started collecting spinning reels I was told that Kast King spinning reels had too many plastic parts are are cheaply made. I’ve never even considered buying one. I value your opinion far more than reel gossip so this is an important video for me. I want to know. I think the next video will mean more to me. I’m confused with what you said, is there or is there not a drag on this reel? I look forward to the next video. Also, have you ever done s video on a larger Kast King spinning reel? - Chris
No drag washers - totally a direct drive reel - That take apart inside look video would be published in a few days - Dennis
