I stopped playing a couple of years ago, but I still keep my paper copy of the MTGO Vintage Cube updated. Not even sure why. I just love Vintage Cube that much.
They'd have to change the other two abilities to be more generic as well. Otherwise it would be a 4 mana dual colour planeswalker that only has a +0 ability to create Boo on the turn it comes into play. (Also, it's usually a free Boo every second turn beyond the first one)
its broken enough that they changed it so you cna only make a boo if there is no boo and increased the mana cost by 1 to 5cmc and it still was maybe the best card in the arena cube.
@@El_Travo im aware. But you with the normal one can still make a token even if you habe one on the field so if someone like prison sentences it you can just make another but the arena nerf made it so you can't make another boo unless there just isent one on the board.
@@dillonoickle5841 You are correct and I was ignorant of that. I just assumed you could only have one Boo on the field at once due to the legendary clause, but they did in fact change his passive ability on Arena to state there could only be one at a time. I didn't even notice that change as I was focused on the increase to his casting cost. Reading the card is hard, apparently.
It's humanizing seeing even pros have little blind spots. LSV defaulting to preserving as much blue mana as possible and tapping out of his only red source before Timetwistering is extremely on brand.
Field of the dead is just really slow in vintage cube. Golos is great but 1 or 2 zombies a turn isn't that impact full in this cube. On Arena its probably one of the strongest things you can do but combos in vintage are so much stronger
Time to time I watch an lsv video to know the current state of the game, but man, this is another game, so different from the one I played years before. The card design has no elegance. That planeswalker for 4 mana is nuts, you play it and you win. Just lame.
I've stopped playing magic over a decade ago, but I still tune in to watch these Vintage cube drafts. They are that entertaining.
Lol same! Lsv has trancsended mtg
Same. Lsv cube is a must watch.

I stopped magic 2 decades ago. But same for me.
I only log in a few times a year to play vintage cube lol
@35:00 agreed, Jace Mind Sculptor Vs Minsc & Boo.. Jace totally loses to an incoming hamster missile
What was nice about this deck is that you could always see what bad card you were about to draw next
Minsc should really have a 0 loyalty ability that resummons Boo if it dies. It's so busted with a free Boo every turn.

I would watch LSV playing Vintage Cube all day.. it's so fun to watch.
Minsc & Boo, what a balanced and clearly well thought out card. I wonder why player satisfaction is at an all time low....
Hooray more vintage cube! Thanks for all the great content!

This guy forces blue every single time without fail
Lasted 11 minutes. The whistling and humming. I just cant... GG LSV
Lsv stays bringing 🔥
I like Minsc because he reminds me of Nizzahon.
LSV + Vintage cube =
Really showed off the power of minsc n boo
LSV Drafts are my only MTG anymore.
Me seeing the title 🧐
Me understanding it in a few mins 🤯
While I would’ve booed this video just out of premise, it was just so entertaining…I couldn’t bring myself to do it.
Love those videos
Did you not consider field of the dead and Golos? They were both available, seeing the lands you have in the end, it would have been reasonable.

Who tf in r&d thought Minsc and Boo was an acceptable card design?
but isn't Wrenn and Six very much so dependant on the Format?
Where as Jace, Minsc, Oko, Teferi and Narset are not?
Legacy is the most fun to watch
Is Minsc and Boo seeing play in modern/legacy? I didn't realize it was arguably the best planeswalker of all time.
It's not legal in modern as it was printed in a commander supplementary set. But it's pretty busted in legacy.
It sees play as a 4 of in legacy 4 color control decks and it even sees play in vintage oath.
One of these days it would be nice if you could lower the sound of the intro.
It's really loud.
🤩👌

Minsc & Boo is a pox on the game :/ The power creep / commander nonsense (read: corporate greed) kinda detracts from the history of earth’s first TCG.
LSV will literally spend 25% of the stream clearing his voice, dude needs to get that checked does he have some extreme allergy or cancer or what?
