Brian As someone who's actually met with and talked to Plup here in Florida, I have to call that bullshit claim that he's being smug when he smiles.
The dude is honestly just enjoying the game, and is an extremely outgoing personality. And his presence on streams (most notably Wizzy's and M2K's) only confirms that much. If he were really that smug, then he's really hiding it if people who meet and greet with him can't see it.
Methinks you're just trying to perform armchair psychology on his demeanor during matches, instead of taking how he acts at face value.

Just watch his Samus friendlie against Wizzy on Armada's stream and "Plup Samus is sick" on Wizzy's stream (both are watchable on YT). His potential is huge.

This was one of the best sets I've seen in a long ass time. Their shielding was so amazing. There was like a 10 second period on pokemon stadium where they both landed hit after hit but everything was being blocked.

All these people saying he played samus j fo fun. his samus has almost beaten mang0 before in close sets and he just happened to run into johnny when he was on fucking fire. totally could've gotten further with his samus his samus is fucking godlike. but yeah if he switched to sheik he probably would've won....
Smash Fiend I agree his sheik could havr had a better chance but he does beat m2ks sheik. So could still maybe go either way from how they both were playing
Considering Plup has a perfect Sheik Falcon record against S2J, its not much of a surprise if Plup won using Sheik.
True. Just knowing how good m2k is in that match up also though. Your talking the 2 most dangerous sheiks against falcon, he beat one so I mean if he were to beat plups sheik, it would have been that day. Playing on fire that whole run, would have been hype either way.
S2J says that M2K's Sheik Falcon feels outdated. It's worth mentioning that Mew2king has lost to n0ne 3 times already and S2J has taken M2K to game 5 more than once prior to his eventual victory against him. Plup Sheik is a whole different animal and even with S2J's performance, Plup would still be a huge challenge for him in comparison to M2K. By perfect record, I mean Plup hasn't dropped a game in Sheik Falcon to S2J.
Just more of a matter of time though. M2k been doing it for years, pulp kinda recent just swapped, and even if it feels dated its still m2k, a betting man would go against m2k still a massive upset in the same respect. Plup from a technical stand point I feel you on him being a different animal but m2ks sheik can't be under valued, still a beast of a sheik. His mind games are still amazing and he has a few adaptations. I get the pulp thing though 2 completely different sheiks while they are both still amazing in the regard to the match up.

Plup goes full Samus or Luigi to prove "get good" to people. Also, they improve adaptation and encourage a johnless mentality. They are like training weights in a sense.
Seff Bush lol, no. He just loves the characters and wants to get them better. Same reason Mango went all Falco.
Really happy we saw the Pulp samus return.
This is why i love Plup and think that he is probably the best melee player there is, i'm pretty sure he might have the most characters at high level play too, he's sick with shiek,fox,samus,luigi and i'm pretty sure he could play jiggs too but doesn't for obvious reasons. Like here he could easily switch to fox and clean s2j but doesn't, he just plays what he likes, and likes what he plays and i respec that.
I like to see Mang0, Plup, and Axe all go at it to see who has the most characters.
This MU looks so difficult for Samus. Like Floaties all struggle with Falcon, but Samus struggles to another level

I think Plup was ranked lower than S2J until he became a Sheik main.
Im confused why everyone says the MU is so heavily favored toward falcon.
Samus has a decent punish game on falcon being able to CC falcon's nair/weak hits and follow up not to mention nair tech chasing.
Samus is very difficult to edgeguard especially off the ledge with falcon as evidenced by plup not really getting edgeguarded in this set save for a missed bair offstage from s2j
Falcon is notoriously one of the easiest characters to edgeguard - most of s2j's stocks are taken by him being knocked off stage and edgeguarding predictable recovery
Falcon has awful special moveset
Sure falcon has some crazy combos on Samus and is much faster overall, but has a super predictable recovery and no projectiles I'm just wondering why the mu is seen as so heavily favoring falcon.

TeeKayDee From what I have heared from Sebovich, a Ganon main at my local, that have switched main to puff for the time being. He says that Puff has the worst rest-setups against Samus, becuse Samus is so floaty (I have even tested that peach lives longer from the top blast-zone than Samus). But I guese Puff is better in the neutral by spacing BAirs. Then again, Samus can just spam projectiles in the neutral. The Puff vs Samus MU is pretty argueble. I think the MU is even, but I could chance my opinion. Let me now your opinion :)
