Road Trip Mintal to Calinan, Davao City | JoyoftheWorld: Travel

Here's another roadtrip Tuesday and we'll go to Calinan from Mintal! It's a bit of a long ride and yes, it is still part of Davao City. It's been a while that I've gone to Calinan and good to see how's the place with some ongoing road rehabilitation. Good thing that we have errands in the area! :)

Calinan should be Davao's Baguio. :-)

Yes, indeed, but there's still a higher place, somewhere in Baguio District, Davao City and even Marilog District, Davao City. :)

@@JoyoftheWorld I spent summers in Udyongan near Aliwagwag . It was cold there even during summer .

It would be really helpful if you could please include in your road trip Vlogs a map (E.g. in the corner of the screen) of where the places you are visiting in relation to Davao City Central. It would help foreigners/former Filipinos that are thinking of returning to the Philippines and settling down in Davao City area. Just a suggestion. Thanks

I am interested in temperatures/elevation.......I am looking to see where I can find cooler temperatures and be close to Davao.... like if its 90 degrees in Toril....is there a temperature drop in Mintal....then another temperature drop in Calinan.???????

It is cool in Mintal. Yet cooler in Calinan. Especially during night time. 😊

@@JoyoftheWorld I am doing my research before I come....today I was looking at the Area above Toril called Sibulan and Catigan.....not far from davao and a high elevation.....
