Awesome to see you in the kitchen, chef. Just a couple thoughts: with a setup where you only have a single camera, you should check out foodwishes with chef John, or Bruno’s kitchen with Bruno Albouze. They kind of do this hybrid style of live cooking with voice over. You can set up your camera in a perfectly optimal spot to get up close in focus shots of your mise en place, and then provide voice over to explain stuff like - “Here Im chopping the bacon into quarter inch lardons and I am going to get those into a sauté pan to begin rendering the fat out.” This way you can do your entire mise and then move to the stove and it’s a little more like natural cooking on the order in and pick up in a restaurant. Your lighting will be perfect and your audio will be perfect as well. You can even capture your audio on your Asmr set up and save any cost on external mics.
Hello my friend, I did have another camera set up behind the fridge out of view to capture the stove top view. Once I learn some editing skills I hope to combine the two images in sync. When I first started this video I was using a Nikon cool pix B5 500, the image was good and the sound was ok. I was almost finished the video when I noticed my camera had shut off after only a couple minutes. I had put in fresh batteries and the memory card was far from full. So I had no choice but to set up my Yeti, use my Logitech C920 and run down to the grocery store for more supplies and start over. Lol, I know this video is amature and crude and hard to watch for some but I wanted to get something up on my channel for now. I like your ideas and with any luck my videos will someday get to that point. I always appreciate your advice...and patience...take care...
@@markseasykitchen7232 for a first go, Chef this was very well done. Just like with cooking, the more repetition, the better the technique. Keep up the great work.
@@curryeventservicesphotogra7505 like I said it needs work, still need to incorporate my other camera shots into the vid.....my gf Linda thought it was too long.....I also want to add text outline the ingredients etc....:)...thanks again
@@markseasykitchen7232 I think thats the beautiful part about youtube right now. For those who prefer longer content, you can make videos just like this. Then after you get the hang of these, you can break them down into shorts/reels and still deliver similar content to the folks interested in something that is more on the fly, digestible in 30 seconds.
I actually like the longer format better! You can see more technique, and gives you more time to explain things well. Really like these and it's a great idea! As a single guy, these videos will be huge for me!
Good job on the cooking channel, and using the egg for the sauce. Some folks think you gotta use a cream sauce. I normally add my fresh parm and also Romano, equal parts, to the egg liquid. Makes the dish really silky. Also a fair amount fresh ground pepper. 🍻 cheers.
haha kinda strange hearing your normal voice Mark, it sounds different that I would have expected. Ill have to peruse through the vids on this channel for some new recipes!
Nice cooking

Thanks so much Deidre, you are the best...;)
Besides the great color combo for your garnish - you actually have the colors of the Italian 🇮🇹 flag. Green onions, white noodles and red tomatoes!
I never noticed that, you are very observant my friend.....;)
Phenomenal video! You have two of the very best channels on all of TH-cam!
thank you Justin, much appreciated...;)
