I watched Bridegroom for the first time last night, I cried so hard, it really moved me and affect me in so many ways. The love you guys had was incredible and i am so sorry for your loss. Dear Shane, i am truly sorry to hear your story in this way, and i cried so hard when i see it, cause i can relate you sooooooo much and soooooo mo real! I still remember him, my first love. back in high school, we have been so in love and reckless that time, like he plus me we are the whole world, nothing bothers us and nothing can separate us. Our love is all we have and all we wanted. Until one day, one drunk diver on the road and hit him and took him away from me forever, my whole world collapsed since that day and that day is my birthday, he left me alone with this meaningless world. After i was told that he was on his way to buy my birthday gift that i have told him i wanted. 7 years From that day, i have never celebrated my birthday since. And i know that he’s in heaven and protect me and i know My heart belong to him, We are in love with each other back, now and forever.💙

Dear Shane, i am truly sorry to hear your story in this way, and i cried so hard when i see it, cause i can relate you sooooooo much and soooooo mo real! I still remember him, my first love. back in high school, we have been so in love and reckless that time, like he plus me we are the whole world, nothing bothers us and nothing can separate us. Our love is all we have and all we wanted. Until one day, one drunk diver on the road and hit him and took him away from me forever, my whole world collapsed since that day and that day is my birthday, he left me alone with this meaningless world. After i was told that he was on his way to buy my birthday gift that i have told him i wanted. 7 years From that day, i have never celebrated my birthday since. And i know that he’s in heaven and protect me and i know My heart belong to him, We are in love with each other back, now and forever.💙

I made it over here to this video...I am bawling my eyes out, the world has lost some one incredibly beautiful, thank you Shane for sharing...a beautiful person like this on so many levels is directly from the fingertips of God...such a beautiful creation...I can not believe or accept that people could reject a person based on there sexual orientation...Jesus Christ loved Tom when he created him, and loves Tom even as I type...this is beautiful and heartbreaking all at the same time.

Shane, love does not end with death; love transcends death. Memories connect us to those we have loved and lost. Tom is with you! In the quiet times, when your alone, a memory, an unexpected--but much needed dream, a song, a smell, reconnect you with him. He's unable to physically 'touch' you now to remind you he's there, but these experiences, these memories, dreams, songs, smells are his way of reaching out to you. Yes, he visit's you--mostly when you need him the most! Remain strong!
Thank you for sharing your life story and Tom's life's story. Watching Bridegroom made me feel as if I know you both and I feel like I lost someone important, as if my loved one died. I do know that somewhere, Tom's watching over you, probably playing his piano or goofing around with the angels, and definitely he's proud of you. I wish I could hug you. You both are an inspiration to me. I do wish that someday, I'll feel the same thing that you feel.. a love so strong that really makes you have faith in humanity. What a marvellous singer / performer Tom was. A CD / DVD for gay couple awareness perhaps. Tom and Shane are meant, no truer a match. Shane you should be proud to have met Tom and Tom to have met Shane. Saw your compilation video on FB and my heart strings responded with tearful eyes. A reflection of life between 2 men. My heart goes out to you and more understanding through awareness is a necessity.

I didn't know about your and Tom's story. The person who drew my attention to you is Dan, from Mr Max TV, the incredibly popular story about himself and a cockatoo called Max! I mention him because he has actually met you at a talk you gave some time ago, and between you you have helped me FEEL again and let go of all those bottled up emotions I've suppressed since childhood. I have always felt empathy for ANY kind of oppression. I don't understand how anyone can condemn LOVE, whatever form it takes. Your story is heartbreaking, and your strength is amazing.
