If a service dog approaches you without a human:
1. Follow them.
2. Check their vest while you are following them for any instructions. A dog's vest might tell you not to call 911, so please respect this. The dog's bags might contain medication like inhalers or epi-pens, or a number to call for help that's specific to that person.
3. Always remain dog-neutral. Let the handler praise their dog... just verbally acknowledge the dog and tell them you are coming and instruct them to "find mom or dad". This is actually OKAY to do, contrary to popular belief!!
4. Make sure to communicate with the handler, and be sure to comment politely that their dog did what it was supposed to do by seeking help (as the handler may not be aware of this during a medical episode, and needs to reinforce this behavior if it is desired).

That fact about the pupils was actually developed by a professor at my university. He noticed that his in his son's photos, one eye reflected white, and the other reflected red. It turns out it was cancer, and he developed an app to help parents identify this in their kids

How is that good
In an avalanche your best bet is to cover your face so you have some air pocket to breathe. That snow packs quick and will ice over you. It's very hard to get out
Doesn’t need to ice over. If you’ve ever got buried even in fluffy pow you’ll know you are basically paralysed. You need someone else to dig you out.

No, especially in young children a white eye shine instead of a red one (most often in one eye, like in the picture shown) is cancer of the retina. That boy *is an actual patient*.
It's rare but pediatric oncologists actually worry is going to be missed much more often until it's spread due to digital photography vs analog flash photography because the white eye was often the earliest signs and the cancer was in its early stages still.

Coincidentally the emergency number in my country is 112😂😂
