Hm… you know, Effect Veiler and Battle Fader can actually be a pretty killer way to shut Chaos Giant’s attack. Honestly now that I think about it, it actually sounds like something Yuya or Yusei would actually do.
The effect of the giant of chaos does not allow you to activate the effects of your monsters in the Battle phase (that includes those everywhere, hand, field, graveyard, and banished), effect veiler can stop it, as long as you activate it before the battle is declared.
@@crazyd3mon968 Ancient Gear Fortress doesn't directly protect Ancient Gear monsters from targeting effects, but it instead prevents your opponent from targeting them with card effects. Because of this distinction, Effect Veiler won't negate Chaos Giant's effect.

Love the video cause I have this deck in relief but I don't have power bond at all but I wonder how many do u one cause I don't I seen ancient gear fusion in this deck at all
@@TS-7864 I want to say..about 3 or 4, the version I have now got me into platinum while the older versions got me to high gold, little tweaks can be that last push
@@TS-7864 Adding Triple tactics talent and called by helped me a lot, I got rid of all my copies of ash, if you feel like you really need a hand trap I would recommend 3 copies of Maxx c (mandatory for going second imo) and ghost ogre and snow rabbit instead of ash because so many decks right now can play through it. I’m going to upload my platinum deck soon

@@Lord_Weegee effect veiler during the main phase would allow for Battle Fader to be used during the battle phase
