Honestly, crypto and NFTS just really remind me of get rich quick schemes but rebranded for the new generation, just like how pyramid schemes were rebranded as Multi-level marketing and other labels so people wouldn't know that it was a pyramid scheme

Think it's supposed to represent the Bitcoin, which is a form of cryptocurrency.
@@NerdPulseGaming they're in competition with bitcoin, so that wouldn't make sense either. I get that they wanted a physical representation of their product, but when your product is competing with a traditional one, using the competitor's product as a mascot isn't a good idea. you don't want the consumer to think of your competitor when they think of you.
Wouldnt be suprised if Governments sue Bitcoin and make it iliegal, I geniually hope they do that.

I love that many people seem to miss a major reason why Rapture in Bioshock failed.
It maybe a nice little objectivist/libertarian paradise, but the ultimate power and authority comes to the one who built it and the one who maintains it. @@Plardo In software, forks are programs that are modified from another program's code. So I infer that in this context, forks are new cryptocurrencies that are made by modifying the implementation of an existing one. Such as Bitcoin Cash coming from Bitcoin.

A fork is when two different transactions on the blockchain are validated by separate validators, meaning that two validators have two different copies of that blockchain with a different transaction record from each other. And the blockchain can't be edited, so the two new "forks" simply remain two different, alternate records of transaction history.

When i thought of Cryptoland, i thought of the concept of it being a casino based island with NFT's everywhere for some odd reason.
