I’m very glad there’s a scene later in the game where Rodger meets one of his friends who gives him a pep talk, and then tbey both go down to the pub and drink with all their friends. He even does a little self-deprecating joke about his huge head and smiles.
The wife who suggested bigger pies, said she likes his head, but leaves him because "it's just too big" and later he's comforted by a few characters about his big head by they all have bigger heads than him. The "this is a family restaurant" makes me think that not talking about the head on his shoulders. XD
And I think that's why Rog's wife/gf left him, despite liking his big head. You can see his dad's silhouette that his head is massive too, so she probably realised the consequences of where their relationship would lead to and left. Fucked up, innit?

Just to make his life even more tragic, at some point Flornce and Kerri (who are, according to Ron, Rog's kids (well at least Florence)) bicker about their father getting into a motorcycle accident (Kerri was lying, but still, they were a few feet away from Rog), meaning that not only did Rog's ex remarry, but Rog's kids are so close to their step-dad that they just call him dad
I felt really sorry for this guy, and I was really happen when, near the end of the game Big Ron took him aside, got the gang together and cheered him up. Big Ron is the best!

Yet later, Ron refers to her as “your Florence” to Roger; even though Flo works for both of them (and the pub too). Rog then comments on Flo going to Uni, etc. So Rog is at least someone invested in her life. Maybe they’re the kids of the remarried mom, so he’s not even related to Flo but feels responsible for her? Or Rog and her had them before she left and the kids took the new dads last name (Pickles) and that’s who “dad” is when Keri pranks Flo at the phone box? Father? Moms ex-husband? Employer-turned-father-figure?? What do you guys think? Have I missed anything? I’m aware this is insane, but there is no Wiki or subreddit and I don’t know where else to go 😔
