Severe Weather Strikes Southeast Louisiana, Leaving Thousands Without Power and Shutting Schools

- Severe weather struck southeast Louisiana from Thursday night into early Friday, causing widespread power outages. Nearly 65,000 residents initially lost power, but Entergy has restored service to more than half of them. As of 3:30 p.m. Friday, about 21,900 customers remain without power, mainly in Jefferson, St. James, and Tangipahoa parishes. Full restoration is expected by Sunday, though some may regain power sooner.
The storms damaged transmission and distribution systems, with significant repairs needed for poles, wires, transformers, and cross arms. Over a thousand workers are engaged in restoration efforts, with additional resources and crews being deployed to the most affected areas. Some customers may need electricians to fix home equipment before reconnection.

We just got that storm here in houston. I've lived here almost 40 years and I've never seen anything like that before. But then again I've never seen the amount of chemtrailing they've been doing either. Pay attention to all the chemtrailing. When you see a plane going across the sky leaving a long streak Annette Street does not dissipate that means it's a chemtrail not a condensation trail. FJB

If you will call these types of winds as 'storms ' then how you will live there? Where when the wind's starts blowing they blow, break trunks of huge tree's , house sheets, poles and every where you will see logged water , ,broken twigs, plastics etc. So don't get scared. All thing's are necessary accordingly. Adapt your self .
