And while the Hindi speaking Indians continued to vote for Congress for 65 years although Nehru gave away Aksai Chin and Today’s POK Hindu Bengalis knew better to never vote for congress. When partition happened it was the communists and SP Mukherjee a few Hindu leaders strongly advocated for Bengali Hindus in East Pakistan to move to West Bengal. Nehru , Gandhi and Patel all opposed it . And while the Hindi speaking Indians continued to vote for Congress for 65 years although Nehru gave away Aksai Chin and Today’s POK Hindu Bengalis knew better to never vote for congress. Thought I share this historical context because many Hindi speaking and non Bengali Hindus who did not suffer the horrors of partition and treachery of Nehru, Gandhi and Patel should know what really happened and why Bengalis kept voting differently.
