Julianna You know sometimes the decision is made without us.We found 5 pups in the forest -left there to die-all stayed with us and well it is a lot of time and work we have no problems with them now😊😊
That is a very good point! I'll be more mindful to take that sort of scenario into consideration. Good thing you were able to make it all work out, that must have felt incredibly rewarding.
It is easy to make rash judgements about people, so I'm just glad that Zak didn't get all preachy about saying that you should never adopt more than one dog because sometimes it just happens! I respect him for that.

We chose two - i'd never heard of littermate syndrome having only had one dog then another later before. seems i should have looked into it more but we are doing training separately, in different rooms or different family members. But some still think you can do it without a major problem so here's hoping.

Yes! I was so excited when I found this video. My father is a sucker for animals and could not pass up the chance for not just one but two black Labradors. It has been a challenge because they seem to be more interested in each other than us so we try to separate them when we are outside, on walks, or training. This video just assures me that Im on the right track thus far. Thank you!

This is really helpful! We have two puppies (6 months), and it's really nice to see that things can be done. We usually train them separately, but walking 2 husky puppies at the same time is pretty hard.
I've just adopted two tiny yorkie pups and this helped TREMENDOUSLY!!!
My puppy husky had really strange behaviour at only 9 weeks old, growling at people entering the house, scared of people, dogs and cars, just not a very nice puppy. shes 4 months old now, and everyday I watch a new Zak george video and work with her. Shes a beautiful puppy now, always nice and clam, loves to play with other dogs and does so in a friendly nice manner, we always receive tons of praise from other owners at the dog park at just how lovely and obedient she is.
I just wanted to say thank you, for all of this free education. It's been so valuable to us, not in just training our dog but also understanding and connecting with her. We've grown a very strong bond with her that we can tell will last a lifetime. Thank you Zak George!

I have 2 puppies. Its hard to train them together like you said one listens and the other jumps trying to get the treat but I've managed to teach them sit and come. Two puppies is a lot of work! I usually do two separate training sessions

I want to thank you for your great trainings. I used them to teach my dogs and I saw the result very fast. I have this problem with my two 2 months old puppies but I tried to use my both hands to teach them simultaneously but it works just for simple commands and sometimes they lose their concentration. Also Zak if it is possible please tell us about gaurd dog training.
omg have been waiting for this video all my life so happy!!! I two girls a 3 and a 6 year old and they are both so bad , they pull, bark want to attack other dogs and bark and follow men in particular one doesn't like children very much either .....

I'm getting a gsd pup and the only thing I'm afraod of is leash pulling when he will be 5+ months old! I would love if you doba video with a german shepherd or a gsd puppy but if no one has a puppy than just an adult one! They're my favourite breed! I'm your subscriber ever since 2013! I really love these videos you make. This one was important. The problem I have with my 2 months old pitbull puppies is that they both want to go to the same hand even if I have treat for each of them in each hand, the boy especially he is hyper too. I feel completely lost and I only had them 2 days lol😅

Hi Zak! Love your videos! I'd like to request a video addressing whether or not it's realistic to not allow our dog on the couch. We've had our dog for a month and I don't want to allow him on the couch because he's a heavy shedder and he sometimes jumps on the couch when his paws are wet from a walk. Because he's shedding heavily, we only allow him in the kitchen, dining, and living room area in our 2 bedroom apartment. I'm wondering if that area is too small to realistically restrict him from the couch and what tactics to use to discourage him from getting on the furniture.

I got an old stubborn pitbull that knows all the tricks but doesn’t want to budge and a young puppy Shepard that knows 3 tricks very well and listens far better

I've been watching your videos since I came home from school! They have helped with my 11 month old boxadors(Addy and Ricky) They aren't jumping as much and this helped a lot! It is definitely a lot harder to train two dogs then one.
Request: Though they are amazing towards people, they aren't with each other or other dogs. We have this huge cage from our last dog (a German Shepherd) and only one can go in it at a time or else they will fight. Not play puppy nibble fight but a fight where Addy bleeds from her paws and ears. Ricky doesn't really get any bad marks or bleeds though. Then when I and a friend are walking them and they see another dog their back and scruff fur stand up and they both let out a small growl. I have watched other videos but none seem to be helping! Please help.

Victoria Cho Hey i’m shelby from the video! We used to have different cates for them when they went to bed so they could have alone time without getting annoyed the only one, but we a doggy playpen that when we leave the house they in there together.

My German Shephard is learning quickly and doing well...but he snaps at my lure/hand when I’m leading in heel or pretty much anything. He will follow a command but when he knows I’m about to begin and have treats, he will always begin by snapping st my hands. He’s not aggressive in it but puppy teeth hurt lol. He’s also 40lb at 14wk so he’s big too. How can I stop that? He doesn’t nip any other time. We broke that early in...the literal teeth snap after a lure is what’s hard for me with him.
