DLMLU is my fav song on the album 😭 Songs like this are becoming Hyunjin's distinctive sound. The songs he writes and produces are always so different and with that dark mysterious sexy vibe, he ads such a beautiful colour to Stray Kids' discography. I wish he could produce even more in the future, cause he definitely has a talent to it 🥲
Maybe it's me but Han's relationship songs have love as an emotional vulnerability with ups and downs but Hyunjin's relationship songs have an intensity where love is tied to equal parts obsession and pain.
On DLMLU, Hyunjin originally intended for it to be a Danceracha song but they decided to make it an OT8 song. Hyunjin writing and Chan tracks are a beautiful marriage to me. That combo produces music that I just love. Hyunjin is only starting to produce. Really all of them are. I can't wait to see how they continue to grow and evolve.There was written by Changbin. I've watched a couple videos before where people break down line distributions and, typically, Felix and Hyunjin with Lee Know, just above them, end up with the least amount of lines. What I'm hearing is more equal distribution of lines but I might be wrong. Love the reaction.
Nah hyunjin got just 7s in DLMLU despite writing and composing it...line distributions always leave a bitter taste in my mouth, not just for SKZ, cuz I want them all to sing all the time but that's just silly😅

Actually Lost me and There (my to fav songs of the album)both sad songs were written mostly by Changbin, but i think because this album doesnt have a lot of rap , he let other members to shine , since Changbin is usually is a lot in the spotlight) I think its so great that with each album they become more and more diverse and just destroy the boundaries between their roles🔥 This album has more of Hyunjin’s and Felix’s singing which i think is so great and good for their confidence
What I have noticed with Stray Kids is their NOSY songs always consist of: 1. A mean bass drum/guiter SOMETHING WITH A BASS enough to itch your brain. 2. Han's ad-libs. 3. Unexpected transition(s). 4. Sirens/any chaotic sound you'd never think would fit in a song. 5. Felix's iconic lines.

Idk about the contract but I've seen that clip with him and Seungmin. There is no doubt I.N had been killing it on this album. I'll add that I feel like since Hyunjin came back from hiatus 3Racha has utilized both his vocals as well as rapping in key parts most songs. Almost as much as they do with Han. It's like they made a concerted effort to show how much they need all 8 members for SKZ to be whole. Same with Lee Know's vocals.
While I adore Binnies raps, when he gets the chance to actually sing it makes my heart so full. he has such a pretty voice. Will be a Binnie bias forever

I also love how much singing Felix we got as well! Also Hyunjin wrote DLMLU so I guess you could say it's a sequel to Taste lmao. Hyunjin is so talented with his song writing! I love your videos always so much fun seeing your reaktions to the songs. The last song There kind of gives me the feeling that it could be about the girl they never had the chance to meet in person. They had a zoom call with a girl (from Japan i think) for the make a wish foundation and wanted to meet her at the next concert in Japan but she sadly passed away a few days bevor the concert. I am surprised and upset by the fact that for some reason no one talks about WHAT kind of work Chan has done ... the person who is listed in the credits of EACH song not only as an arranger and producer, but as a co-author of lyrics and instrumental.

I was sick AF and didn't get to listen to it when it came out. I got to today and was like "I know Teddy reacted to this." I.N has come SO far since pre-debut. His vocals, stage presence, and dancing are on a whole other level. STAYS are so proud of him, but he'll always be our baby bread. That being said, he hands down owns this era. I knew you were gonna lose it over Binnie because he killed it. My favorite was Battleground and DLMLU. DLMLU is such a powerful song. SKZ softer side just hits different. They showcased how talented each one of them are. You briefly touched on it, but I can't speak highly enough of the production on the album as a whole. Our boys NEVER leave us empty handed.
'There' was originally one of Binnie's SKZ-player/Records but they decided to put it on 'The Sound'... just imagine how amazing it would've been as a Binnie solo song, and just knowing the guide with just his voice is trapped in Chan's computer makes my heart happy. It's incredible with all 8 of their voices on it, and I really still want to hear the guide version too!
I love how Hyunjin wrote from the pov of the person being toxic in the relationship and not the other way around i think we all were once toxic for some ppl in our lives even without realizing it (here the person realized it but u get me haha) and it's a song I can relate to in a certain way. DLMLU is def my fav on this album!
I don't know why I am still amazed bey them, but the fact, that I am really not into most of the genres of this album, but I love all of the songs so much. I can't even choose a favorite because each one of it is so good on its own and in a different way.

In my opinion, Seungmin, I.N and Lee Know always shine in Japanese for some reason. But also sounds like I.N might, finally, found confidence in his unique tone, I remember him saying he used to think it was his weakness. I always enjoy the Japanese releases, but have to agree with you when it comes to Thunderous, the flow felt weird, not bad, but weird.

Lost Me about broke me yesterday when I heard it. As someone who basically self-sabotaged her last two relationships because she was drowning in untreated depression and anxiety after coming out of a heavily emotionally abusive relationship, I can say the song hits its mark with as much accuracy as Lee Know hitting the camera bullseye at ISAC.
Stray Kids is awesome. I currently live in South Korea and it's cool to hear kids walking down the hallways singing and rapping songs together. :) I you haven't checked out the k-pop/rap group Block B - BASTARZ, you will probably like their song "Make it Rain" and "Zero for Conduct." They are one of my favorite "bad boy" groups here.
Yo this is the best album for me,, I think. I JUST love every skz song and how different they are. There is so much they offer to world and to us. Always improving with every single and album they relase, the confidence they show in their vocal with this album is such a slap to the faces of ppl Who likes to talk shit about skz vocals. But this spesific album here as a Jpop listener I just am in love with it. A literal no skip album, I say
Something that highlights how good literally every song they make is is the fact that there's _always_ a huge variance in which songs people prefer and how they rank the tracks. Like, the fandom agreeing that banger songs A and B are the best and above filler songs C-F, and there's just a scattering of disagreement about whether song A or song B is better, is one thing. The entire fandom having entirely different rankings for songs A-F because none of them are filler or second-rate or the single shining star of the album is a different situation altogether. And this is always a characteristic of their albums. The equal level of mastery in the creation, production, and performance of such wildly disparate songs is noteworthy.

I am surprised and upset by the fact that for some reason no one talks about WHAT kind of work Chan has done ... the person who is listed in the credits of EACH song not only as an arranger and producer, but as a co-author of lyrics and instrumental.
A-Freaking-MEN to that!!!!!!! Everyone is is so talented and they all shine beautifully...but every time a new album drops I can't help but be in awe of the amount of work that has gone into its creation. Chan is a creative genius and powerhouse. They deserve the universe!!!🥰🥰
Absolutely credits to him for his help and guidance, but binnie, hyunjin and seungmin are the sole lyricists of their songs...we should give him credit for the music, but he is not the lyricist in these songs, lets not confuse ppl who might not know

I was sick AF and didn't get to listen to it when it came out. I got to today and was like "I know Teddy reacted to this." I.N has come SO far since pre-debut. His vocals, stage presence, and dancing are on a whole other level. STAYS are so proud of him, but he'll always be our baby bread. That being said, he hands down owns this era. I knew you were gonna lose it over Binnie because he killed it. My favorite was Battleground and DLMLU. DLMLU is such a powerful song. SKZ softer side just hits different. They showcased how talented each one of them are. You briefly touched on it, but I can't speak highly enough of the production on the album as a whole. Our boys NEVER leave us empty handed.
'There' was originally one of Binnie's SKZ-player/Records but they decided to put it on 'The Sound'... just imagine how amazing it would've been as a Binnie solo song, and just knowing the guide with just his voice is trapped in Chan's computer makes my heart happy. It's incredible with all 8 of their voices on it, and I really still want to hear the guide version too!
I love how Hyunjin wrote from the pov of the person being toxic in the relationship and not the other way around i think we all were once toxic for some ppl in our lives even without realizing it (here the person realized it but u get me haha) and it's a song I can relate to in a certain way. DLMLU is def my fav on this album!

In my opinion, Seungmin, I.N and Lee Know always shine in Japanese for some reason. But also sounds like I.N might, finally, found confidence in his unique tone, I remember him saying he used to think it was his weakness. I always enjoy the Japanese releases, but have to agree with you when it comes to Thunderous, the flow felt weird, not bad, but weird.

Lost Me about broke me yesterday when I heard it. As someone who basically self-sabotaged her last two relationships because she was drowning in untreated depression and anxiety after coming out of a heavily emotionally abusive relationship, I can say the song hits its mark with as much accuracy as Lee Know hitting the camera bullseye at ISAC.

Something that highlights how good literally every song they make is is the fact that there's _always_ a huge variance in which songs people prefer and how they rank the tracks. Like, the fandom agreeing that banger songs A and B are the best and above filler songs C-F, and there's just a scattering of disagreement about whether song A or song B is better, is one thing. The entire fandom having entirely different rankings for songs A-F because none of them are filler or second-rate or the single shining star of the album is a different situation altogether. And this is always a characteristic of their albums. The equal level of mastery in the creation, production, and performance of such wildly disparate songs is noteworthy.
