Only 2 episodes in that very first season, in such a long run, out of the O’Keefe era (that guy’s history), and yet, it was one of the best games I’ve seen, despite the outcome.
That doesn’t matter anyway, since I always love it when DOND games come down to the wire, and the contestant leaves as a happy winner- you can see how intense it was for her, just when the last offer came in place.
Bless her heart for making that game a great one, as well as one of the best ones, for that first season in the Denyer era.

and had she gone for it, she would've reversed what she did and actually WON!

@@guyfierimtwi Except the math of the game said to take the deal in that situation. Fair value was $87,500. Taking the deal yields $500 profit long term. A similar story holds true for Michelle Falco's game. Fair value for her was $875K, and she was offered $880K, about $5k above fair value. The decision to say no deal to the final offer is irrational. Humans tend to pursue things of an abstract value sometimes.

@@ianandersen265 bro it was the same exact situation... AND... You could have bragging rights, you could pull a perfect game... you could be remembered for AGES... I'm taking that chance for one shot at free FAME that isn't going to be canceled since I'll be able to go back to my regular life. and if I don't win, oh well, I got the next best thing.
THERE IS NO BETTER GAME than this. How the hell are you supposed to win if everyone chickens out? If it was a $1, $100K siutation it would've been different.

@@guyfierimtwi What do you think the show will do, if more people take mathematically correct deals?
The show would be forced to tighten up their bank offers, similar to what happened in Season 4 of American Deal or No Deal.
Just look at Jessica Robinson's game. She was persistently low balled the whole game, and by the time Jessica had a $100,000 safety net with 3 cases left,
it was too late to stop her, when the Banker could have been mathematically justified offering $201K (razor's edge) with 6 cases remaining.
The network wanted Jessica to win the million before going off the air!

Disappointing. How are you going to play the perfect game of Deal or No Deal and not even take your case? She said she'd be happy with $30,000 but between $75,000 and $100,000 somehow winning $75,000 was too scary and worth surrendering to the banker for.

Frankly, I was just happy for her, leaving the game as a happy winner, rather than worrying about what she really would’ve done, since that game and that last moment, was one of the most intensive ones I’ve seen in quite a long time.
And no matter what, she’s still cruising on down to Las Vegas in fine style, with what she won, on the show.
