I like stories that focus on healing and helping broken people get better more than just edgy gratuitous revenge stories. Need more cute "take care of slave girl" anime that don't focus on the revenge but just on making her happy and moving on.

To be fair, up to that point, it sounds like he'd been pretty cold to all of them, and was clearly only working with them for the money, and obviously had pretty bad attitude and a low opinion of other people in general, which I'm sure they all would have picked up on if they worked with him enough. Honestly, as the rogue of my friend group - if I walked up to one of them and was like "Hey, heal this girl I met last night" - they'd probably assume I caused it from things we did the night prior. That being said, they'd also know better once they saw the actual girl was a slave or that small and probably all joke on me for buying a slave just to save her LOL
There is a bit of aimlessness and focused goals. No criticism. This is one of the other best stories on the recaps. The aimlessness is part of the non urgency that opens the story up without being too demanding. Its a good story pace to have.

There are ways to leave those kinds of marks on someone but alleviate the pain and hide the damage to an extent, not perfectly, but since she can clearly see what he might've covered up she openly blames him.

Interesting story. Especially the beginning. Personally, I think he was married before his current lifestyle. The 3 big hint. The house. Then the one apron the girl is wearing to clean the house. Last the chest. He ask her not to open. There is a forth hint. The herbs. He thought it was weeds. So personal garden growing herbs for cooking. Girl knows it’s herbs because her mother probably teach her when she had parents. Something mother probably showed her. Four clues the guy was probably married in the past. Chest, probably have her things. He personally treasure. Again. My guess. Looking forward to looking up this story.

If it gets sick its not going to be productive, if it can't read/write/math it can't go shopping on its own, if it is dirty and stinky it would be unpleasant to be around, if it isn't fed adequately it won't have enough energy to do all tasks. For maximum value, it has to be kept in the best condition!

Characters seem dumb in this world, if people think he's a thief for his outfit, why doesn't he change his outfit? Or correct them saying he's a scout, I imagine he isn't the only scout, right? Do every scout has to live through the same judgement from others? Idk, but also if he tried to make some actual friends he would have people that would bouch for him, but he seems to have given up on that.

You do realize that even in our world, the second that someone has a negative impression of you, they're never going to change their mind. And everyone that person knows will also have a negative opinion of you. And half the people those people know will also have a negative opinion of you. That's just how things work. At that point its entirely pointless to try changing anyone's opinions of you. Just shut yourself off from the rest of society as much as you can, and do what you can to enjoy being alone. Which in our world is having a PC, 4k 120hz monitor, all consoles, and a tablet for reading/videos in maximum comfort!
