I'm from Singapore. A local asian with dreadlock. I don't really fancy dreadlocks, but I got to do it since I want to keep my hair long. Because my hair is dry, brittle, freezy and mess up without dreadlock, I go to my local loctition and lock it. And it's by far the best decision I made so far. 8-9 month with dreadlock and lovin it. But here in Singapore, we don't have this kind of hairstyles amongst us locals. Some of them think that having dreadlock, we don't shampoo or wash our hair 😂 Children call me the setan or devils😂 some said that i'm following the black people when I'm not even black to have dreadlock. All this stereotypes o and black people with dreadlock don't talk to me and look away when they see asian with dreadlock. It funny. I'm wearing it proud and always smile when those critics comes.
