That's a fine buck Congratulations and love to see the old remingtons in action ❤ I have 3 but 2 are semi automatics ! They work well also but you have to take extreme care how you clean them and oil them So they work reliably in the cold Great hunts thanks for sharing

We are going to be having a Northwoods whitetail model coming out this spring with a 20” barrel built for tracking.
Nice filming and narrative.
Would it be any easier without a scope? Seems like most times you guys are in that thick crap and short shots? Although it is nice to pick up bone thru the brush. Saves put binos up and then the gun.
I go back and forth. I like a peep but can see a bit better with the scope to pick that hole, etc.

@@northwoodswhitetails9850 Yup, exciting hunt, as you obviously kept retelling the branch you broke and it's head turning. It's about the hunt not the weight or rack!!! 😁It probably would have weighed 200ish before the rut! 👍
@@STICKBOW-STEVE had dragged the buck to the road and left it, then proceeded to get the truck to go back and get the deer.
It most certainly is about the hunt 🙌🏼

Nice buck travis. I got my buck the same day in the adk i tracked 9 miles up and over 3 mountain's shot at 3:00 pm. I was already worn out and he was 4 miles deep didn't get ou till 9 ish also 7pt not my biggest but definitely my trophy.for how hard i worked for him i don't name my bucks .but i named him long drag. I also find it hard to get on a big buck if there aren't no big tracks and have new snow . I just want to track a buck.
