Yay! New episode. Glad to see them coming. Love your videos. Started watching them when I discovered the 2000 Honda Accord video. Good luck in the future and great episode as always!
I own this car and love it! You have to search for things wrong with it. My biggest complaint is the feel of the electronic steering, Sometimes you feel like you are guiding the car, not driving it, as you seem like you are floating on air It does drift a bit from left to right on highways,, so be sure to have a tight grip on the wheel, to the point , that on a long trip, you can become white knuckled a bit. I hope Subaru fixes this. Let me know if other buyers have this or experience this issue. Overall, however, the car is great !
Sounds like an alignment issue. I have the same vehicle, and I haven't had that issue. However my electronic system does go haywire every once in a while (flickering screen, and what not)
@ Matthew Stephenson Thanks, really appreciate the comments like this. I actually went ahead and set the Craigslist videos to private on this channel and made another channel called Craigslist Gold. I figured I would keep this channel just for car reviews. Glad that you are enjoying these.
I just bought a 2018! Oh my gosh it takes me back to the early 2000s when cars were simpler ☺️ Also I’m 6’ 3” and my shoulder span is really wide so the space is much appreciated! Don’t be fooled, the Outback looks bigger on the outside, but the truth is the Outback is more car and less interior...unless you’re measuring front to back. Also the visibility is not as good. I can see why people like Outbacks though, especially those who miss old school station wagons.
Dude I just test drove a 2018 limited yesterday and same, I’m 6’6 and I found myself able to swim inside that car-so much room! Haven’t felt that ergonomically comfortable in a car aside from the newer Ford F-150s. Gonna buy it today!
The 1,500lb maximum towing capacity is paltry. Was this due to the CVT? Would this towing weight limitation also apply to the 6-speed manual transmission?
Moving from my 2007 Saturn Vue 5MT to my 2018 6MT: =Forester is faster, with 30-40+ HP and torque than the Vue =the "greenhouse/large view of outside" can NOT be oversold! It's almost like being in the glass ball vehicle in the new Jerassic Park movies. =my 6MT gets me 32mpg indicated, but 29.5ish at the pump. =Pulled my 970lb dry weight teardrop camper, my wife, two kids, a stroller, a 60lb dog, on highway and hilly roads, and got about 24mpg doing it. Tip: forget about 6th gear. Just stay in 5th for highway speeds. =I have yet to experience a winter with the Subaru, but the AWD will surely make any unplowed road a safe trip Compared to my wife's Chevy Equinox, I hands down love the Subaru. When the Chevy dies, we will either rbe getting a Honda or a Subbie!
I My husband purchased me a 2018 forester , I have taken it to 4 different dealers , they say I have to get used to it I feel every bump in the road and feel like I’m about to l break down every time I drive . What do I need to know I feel every single bump on the road and feel like I wobble back back and forth
As a devout minimalist, I have to say that my 2018 is beautifully minimalist.

Thanks. Really appreciate you saying that.
Good, solid, informative review with well done videography. You nailed the utilitarian ethic of Forester buyers, of which I am happily one.

Do you have a base model?

Great review. I enjoy your analysis of older cars and the Craigslist shopping especially. Hope the channel takes off soon. 👍🏽

Great scenery! Solid review👍🏼
I got one of these for my first car and I love it!!!

Does this model have the eyesight feature?

Just discovered your channel. I'm up in Statesville and have an '06 Nissan Pathfinder you can film if you're interested.
@ Wookie AutomoTV Huntersville here. Thanks for the offer. Currently busy til December-ish. It's a thought.
@@atomicautomobile8537 oh don't worry I'm slam packed until then as well.
What do you drive my friend?
What's the point of reviewing this car without an offroad section, or snow handling? That's where it shines.
P.S., it's not meant to be fast .
I have this car only in blue
