Just wondering. On some of these new cars, this might be tougher to do, and according to who owns the car. It would be easier if it was a company car, or similar. Also, a separate channel might be a choice. I was thinking, for example; if there was dual tips was used, except for the traditional ones, as used here. What if there was a set of them (the outside ones) was ran in this setup, while (the inside ones) were extended longer (deeper to the front of the vehicle), or what if there were a larger or smaller diameter, and what if both was done. What’s the difference between them going to be in tone, and loudness. Another idea is, if there was a true dual, straight pipe, front to rear. No X, H or anything. That’s until the rear, and then one set is connected to each other, forming an, X, H, or something similar. What if there was the true dual straight pipe, but one side was the larger diameter, and the other side was smaller diameter piping? That would result in two different sounds on either side, instead of being mirroring the opposite side exiting tips. This could be adapted for many setups. Such as doing two different pathways, or doing two different mufflers/resistors on each true dual routes. The idea behind this is the dual tone horns. It would add some more weight, that is on top of the added weight of previously mentioned ideas. But, what if on top of the previous idea. There was an third tip, or set of tips that was exiting to the rear, which was an combination of both sides (before any muffler/resonators added, or after the center muffler/resonator was replaced), thus making an third tone. Like a tritone horn, except for those are one continuous sound. This would make a symphony of sound, and just might make a louder sound during certain conditions, but might also be quieter at the same time on the other designed exhaust route. I would be interested in hearing the difference between the standard rev and idling, as we have already, but what about distance. What tones would cancel out each other, and at what distance would they cancel out. Would the vehicle change sound as it was further away? I guess it would have to be taking off from a dig, down the road so far away, to compare. Imagine if the vehicle could have a lower tone near, but as it would normally fade away, it got boosted by an more raspy tone. Especially if the transition was smooth and seamless. What’s the difference between that and if there was a harder transition, like when VTech kicks in, Yo. (Image the whiteest and most engineerd guy says that). That is a great sounding car.
Damn lm liking the way that sounds. I just looked at the link for these mufflers, $28.01 Outstanding! I think lm gonna put a set of these with a X pipe on my 21 GT Mustang.
My personal opinion with Ford mustang far as 289 s engines go either high flow cats wt x pipe or off road x pipe with the 3 chamber magnflow soindz best on the ponies
I'm a camaro guy but there's no denying that them ford 5.0s are some of the best sounding v8s ever made.
This is one of the best sounding mustangs. Really clean and loud. Usually these 5.0s are raspy and clappy. Quad tips look great.
Man it's hard to beat the sound of them coyoties regardless of the exhaust type.
Voodoo 5.2
@@carter.coleman Agreed
Yeah they sound like shit. Clappy af
Best sounding v8 at high rpm
Best sounding v8 out there today. It sounds good.
GT350 is a better sounding V8.
@@169abr true but on the cheaper end can’t beat a coyote.
@@perrystout3651 on the cheaper side for sure, daily drive mine never gets old.
Yeah I’m a mustang guy but definitely not the best sounding it sounds to techno

Been following you guys for a minute and Damn I’m going to drive from Indianapolis to guys real soon to get my 19GT done.
Same in in Indianapolis as well. 17 GT corsa exhaust
Sounds really great with dynomax race bullets, and it sounds better than a challenger and a charger scat pack with dynomax race bullets
Agreed this sounds really good
DOHC vs Pushrod. Can't really compare the two.
That sounds pretty frigen nasty. That’s the best sounding 5.0 I’ve heard.
Coyotes 👍
Hell yeah, ole girl driving it!!!
I would've put on some high flow cats.
@Jesse they said high flow cats because of emissions 😅
