That drone specifically is called a Byleth. They've been in the game since launch but were much rarer than typical behemoths. I never knew they were in the game until deep state where the final boss with CLAW had one. Even then I thought it was a unique enemy for the boss fight.
maybe the game didnt count properly when you hit the headshot through an object? maybe its counter as a wall hit before the headshot making the count go from 1? just guessing here though
I think aiming at the head resulted in a headshot on the closest shots but at a distance they were neck or even chest shots but because they were still one hit kills it was assumed even though the game didn't count it and sets the counter back to zero..
@ didn't know that - I saw him hit chest once. tbh this was a horrible quest. I did it in easier areas and did in groups of 2-3 with flashbang = sensible. What WAS REALLY hard for me was the 2 kills with 2 different weapons - took me an hour - I AM the rubbish

The problem for me is that it's not like I'm unwilling to raid. It's just the raid is completely dead and no one even play it anymore which make gaining raid weapons and cosmetics impossible for most players.
Random Anime BS same thing happened to me on Wildlands with the Mercenary mode. There was a cool costume just for playing one session, but I could never get one started. Checked with Ubisoft support and they refused to do anything about it. It’s one thing to make me pay a few bucks for these cosmetic items. It’s another thing entirely to make them impossible to obtain. It really doesn’t make a lot of sense, and shows you what they think of their customers. At least they are consistent.

I'm really tired of these " events " and " raids " in these games where you can only get the goods by doing MP.

Easiest method for the "undetected kills" is a flashbang tossed at the patrol troops and pick 3 off at a time. Times those patrols by the number needed and you'll easily achieve that goal without base raiding. Works for me.
Being outgunned and outnumbered, I use whatever is available to me to get the best results, for me. With that said, in this case, I fly a helo to the top of buildings for a wider/safer advantage. I've been playing for 16 years and I play without a HUD. My gamer tag is IMT. I too love Wildlands and Breakpoint.
You can zoom in with the button you use for your normal surveillance drone and you can go back to your character with the same button you use with the normal drone to get of the azrael drone mode before it stops by its countdown.... just a suggestion. An FYI, you CAN exit the Pathfinder Drone at will, it's the same key you use to exit the regular drone. (Sorry I don't know the key, I play PS4, not PC, and it's just up on the D-pad for me.)

Willy B try this on a behemoth equip mk3 emp granades have alot if you can use panther spray your self make sure you equip c4 and put all of it on the behemoth blow them will weaken it pretty well then hide equip the missile designator emp it again and hit with that.
I took this guy out using my teammates, emp grenades, grenades, grenade launcher and when all teammates down and every grenades depleted I finally took him out the the LMG CTMMG where I got it with one health bar left and it was awesome--I couldn't personally play without the teammates nor put it on extreme and not die a thousand times like you did, but you finally did it!!! Good Job--There are Fire Behemoths, Gas Behemoths and regular Behemoths and to me the Gas ones are the most lethal IMO--It took me on my third try to take it out--Strategy is the key
the MK48 is by far my favorite/go-to LMG with the SLX5 sight and PEQ15 laser and bipod. I'm looking forward to watching more of your videos!!! edit: to pull out of the ARMAROS DRONE interface, hit the same button you would to deploy your small recon drone

Nine head and one neck shot with a large caliber let you start over and over and over and over and over . . . . But good job. When I went through the behemoth I used the drone to locate and plaster it, then finished it off with a sniper while the AI's busted the advancing hoards. It didn't count on the Rank and I had to restart. Second time I used the drone to weaken it and sniped until it was almost destroyed and popped one shot with the drone to rank up. Again, very difficult, very frustrating both times. I'm at it again with my 2nd avatar. Oh joy.

Somehow the behemoth knows where you are when you use the drone. You might, just might get one or two shots out of it before you have to backout of the drone.
Hey, i did it with the strongest Sniper Rifle and for the CQB a MP oder Aussalt Rifle. It takes more time and patience but always only 1 shot to hit and change Position. But so hard....
It did the same to me and I had to use my pistol for the 10 headshots, I wish they make this kind of a thing dailies. either way, great vid keep up the great work
Same here I was using the koblin and sometimes I'd get to ten on and I was recording the second to fifth time and all those records I definitely had ten and it didn't count until the Sixth time I shot 15 people in the back of the head I was so pissed I dropped the difficulty from advanced to easy so I could walk around with easy just shooting people and they'd see a body and walk right by I and I was like are you serious in advance I be so screwed.
I've played this before you and it is hard but if you have your teams the that fallow you around. They help cause while your killing the main robot tank they can kill the other bad guys that keep popping up.
There are so many behemoths in the game that are miles from the nearest other enemy but you never thought to fast travel to a different site? The actual behemoth wasn't that difficult, it was everyone else forcing you to use tons of ammo. Funny as f*%k though :)

The headshot challenge is a tricky one, as you need a HEADshot. NECKshots will not count. That might have been your issue here with that gun.

You can cancel the drone before time is up. On PS4 it is done by clicking up on the left cross. So for the PC there also must be a key.
