Yes, this is very much a beginner entry level product, intended for children who've never played the game. I'd imagine under 10s. At the other end of the spectrum is competitive play and if you're new to that, it's an expensive road ahead. There are lots of channels on here that go through builds of the current strongest decks being used, and though the top decks will cost upwards of £30 to assemble (usually), there are "budget decks" that can be put together with less expensive cards. Pokémon is a constantly shifting meta game, with new sets of cards every 3 months, with cards only remaining legally playable for about 2-3 years. So to remain current, you need to keep buying new product. As I say, it's an expensive hobby, but if you enjoy it, it's a good game.
@@saturninebear Oh, i do know that tho. Been a Magic and Yu-Ghi-Oh player for ages. Whenever a problem like money comes i always use a printer to proxy decks.
what product would you recommend? i have 5 nephews. i want the to play good meta cards, not beginner friendly cards.
