@@LipCandyBeautybyTrish I would suggest watching a lot of videos about switching. Soon samsung will offer everything Apple does except imessage. And they offer most everything now. Even FT. I love samsung just wish they would bring back expandable memory.
@@ljeans531, they removed expandable memory on their high-end models but still have it on their cheaper models.🤷🏼♂️ I got a Galaxy A23 5G when I ported over the first week of the year and it has expandable memory. It doesn't have FM Radio or home screen looping like Samsung phones used to have.🤦🏽♂️ I also don't care for how they have Settings arranged now. It wasn't broken so they fixed it and not for the better...

@@krane15 I always like to skip a generation but compared to the Note Ultra the quality of the pictures went a big step up. So has imo the brightness of the screen and the sound quality of the speakers. At the end of the day it's a cellphone but comparing to the note it is a different league. The speed and how snappy it feels is beyond comparison. The bump in performance has never felt this big and I started buying them since Galaxy (1)

Giving the device a backup drive and up to 2tb of storage -- the most ever. Watch some of the comparison videos for even more proof. But that's not to say that the S23 isn't a stellar product, it is. Its just not revolutionary from its predecessors. Like the jump to 5G (once it becomes fully functional), which is a true technological advancement.

I'm moving from the Pixel 7 Pro to S23 Ultra, just waiting for it to get delivered. I was thinking I'm going to miss the back-tap because pixel has it but now I can see Samsung has it too! I also found out the S23 series have bypass charging which is super useful for gaming. I can't wait.
Another cool feature on the Edge Panels are the Tools. Compass, Tally counter, Flashlight, Surface Level and Ruler. Very useful tools to add to your edge panel.
I love the colour of that S22 Ultra. I wish they had the same colour available in the S23 Ultra instead of the drab olive/military green they have this year. A lot of people like it but I'm not too keen on it. That green/blue is stunning! ❤️
@@PS3169 yeah I know about the Samsung online exclusive colours. Not really keen on any of them. I was hoping the "Red" would be a proper red like Ferrari Red or even a burgundy, but instead it's more of a sunset orange/burnt red.

As I grew older I am no longer that deep into customization the phone but that doesn't mean I'd choose other brands. I change what I want to change and keep the rest how it is. My favourite is possibility to change keyboard effects in keys cafe!
Its not simply a question of style, but some customization can be usable and practical, such as assigning custom ringtones to friends and family. Of course images are also possible, but more choices are better than fewer.

The issue I have with curved screen it is almost impossible to find a screen protector for it. Even if you do usually they don't cover edges and your finger hits the side of it. The expensive ones do cover it but don't last long.

I used to have glitter one on my S10 before this and wasn't sure if it was still available on S23 when I upgraded this month. I used your color preference too for the screen notification bc it seems the smoothest/ least offsetting if that makes sense lol. But thanks for the great content! Now to figure out Good Lock haha.

Im 5 minits in and half of the things mensioned were there befor this update so Im confused. Like: the color palet, screensaver, widget stacking etc. Edit: The style of the presentation of the new features is astonishing. I have never seen someone soo keen on its work and the edit and music is top notch. Like noone can't compere you to TV, this is 10 years befer TV. This is amazing

Can't believe how much customization is possible from OneUI! I was an EMUI user for 4 years and switching to a Samsung phone was a good choice!

Got mine for over a week now and I can honestly tell you this thing is a major step up from the Note 20 Ultra
Now name one thing it can do that the Note 20U cannot? QHD @120hz? The improvements are minimal at best.

S23u has way more stuff not just the back tap ,im telling you the moment you starts using that you cant change your phone
you could done it with an app called tap tap (not the app store one)
I use my back tap for Samsung Pay, been using it for a while now

Im 5 minits in and half of the things mensioned were there befor this update so Im confused. Like: the color palet, screensaver, widget stacking etc.
Edit: The style of the presentation of the new features is astonishing. I have never seen someone soo keen on its work and the edit and music is top notch. Like noone can't compere you to TV, this is 10 years befer TV. This is amazing
