However the second hit of b 2,2,1 almost never connects for me. Does anyone know what's the trick?

Top tier? I think you have to be insanely good to be effective with kuma. None of his lows start combos.

It seems so yeah, however the followup 1 of the roll hits only high so you can just crouch it I believe.
