Today was the first time I could actually get somewhere and thank you the pros and cons of electric PEV I am 57 and just had a blast today. I love the WSOP Live Updates you've made on Go Gamble World. Sucks you had to run bad but as the late Amarillo Slim once said, "If you won't play that hand you won't play any hand." Hopefully some run good is in the near future for ya! Also yay for peppery beef jerky.

@@nickw3949 Ya know... I don't know how much of a "pro" he is. But... I find his channel informative and interesting. As far as I know, there isn't another one out there that covers poker and Vegas in this way. The cinematography, to me, is well done. I've placed in some of the WSOP tournaments myself. Made a small fortune. I usually play 1-2 no limit though. It's not so much that I like winning.... It's that I hate losing!!! Having those bad luck days, where you lose the stack you brought, really sucks to me... Losing a thousand, to me, is much more "emotionally" painful, than the joy of winning a thousand (If you can empathize with what I said.) So... Poker is more of a "hobby" for me. I can't help but wonder... Are you the goof ball troll Trooper keeps mentioning about?! Also, I've never seen Trooper claim to be a "Pro" so much as he just "says it like he sees it". Remember... The number one thing you hear in the halls of the WSOP... "I HAD POCKET ACES"!!!

As for Nick, he is your classic troll who doesn't play much live poker and hasn't experienced much success, so he attacks others to make himself feel better. Psych 101 stuff at play here

As I have never been there things seem disjointed about the place piecing it together in my mind. Kind of like only getting partial instructions and the ones your getting being out of order. Hopefully, next year I might get a chance to go. I would have gone last year (during the awesome weather of April!) but I have not had my "shots". I wasn't sure how "covid stupid" they were going to be this year so.... I bought a condo instead and moved into it. (Still in the process of moving and fixing all the goofy things I found out wrong with it. Like... Not having one of the bathroom sink plunger control connected to the sink!!! Or a working battery in the garage door keypad!!!)
Nothing you could do with kings. Luck counts a lot in a tournament. Anyone who wins a big tournament like that has to get very lucky. Most of the WSOP tournaments are setup for the rich who can keep reentering.

I have always supported Tim and have been happy to see his successes in life. But after saying that I have to admit that he is not a good tournament player. never has been. he plays the tournament like it is a cash game. completely does not understand the game.

You do not have the patience or the timing or the planning that it takes. Those are learned skills but you do not have them. Why don't you tell your followers if you are above water in tourn play? are you up? when was the last final table you played in? how many final tables were you in this yr? tournment play is a learned skill. If you want I can give you some advice, some help, direct you to some poker books...

If you took the time to really study poker you would understand that your raise is way too small with 600 1200 1200 already in the pot you making it 2,500 is just begging for anybody to call you..
I've advised Tim repeatedly to get some coaching, but he doesn't seem to want to get better. It's like watching the Hindenburg burn over and over again. It's just depressing.

Make it 5000+..he allowed everyone to call getting huge odds..the loose guy called next to him then the bb now is getting HUGE price to call 1200 more to win 8000. About 7 to 1 odds..so trooper bets small when he's ahead then loses over 10000 once bb hits 2 pair on flop..these are beginner mistakes..he doesn't really try to improve his game by putting in hours and hours away from the table.. you can tell by how he talks about hands..never talks about ranges odds position. Etc..usually just says I had qq I raise and fish called and sucked out on me..

However, if you're at a call happy table then you should exploit and size up. In this case, I'd make it 4,000 first in, or 4,000 plus any calls in between

With levels and blinds moving up so fast, if you late register you might be stuck with just 2-3 blinds (at 25,000 starting chips) before you're out.
