Something so interesting about the line where the person answers "Oh yeah, hey dog, hey, what's up". This line is spoken in a 2/4 bar, and the next part leading up to the chorus returns to 4/4. It's something I don't hear much in a pop-ish garage house song. Definitely makes it unique, works in its own way.

Where I put the asterisk (*) before that particular (1) is where the synth comes back in on a C#. That's been where the phrase has been repeating itself throughout the opening of the song. So the amount of time between the guy answering her "Oh yeah hey dog hey what's up" and the C# chord coming back in is only two beats :)

Her live performance blew my mind. Yes she is a terrible dancer, but somehow it was still very appealing! Watching her in the front row was an amazing experience. Would definitely go see her again!
