Good stuff! Always pleased to see a more practical implementation of Aikido!
I find your videos to be quite helpful. I hope you continue to put them up on a regular basis.
Thank you for everything you do for this wonderful art Sensei 😊
Dear Carl, many thanks for all your support and encouragements!
Lovely smooth actions, and appreciated you slowed them right down to show the technique.
Great demonstration, both uke and nage.

si magnifique
You remind me of my old teacher.
Good one, thanks!
Could you please put names of the attacks next time? Thanks!
Tsuki ("skee") is the name of the attack. That's the straighten punch being thrown by uke ("receiver" ie the kid being tossed about like a rag doll)
The "techniques" the older person is doing include most of your basic stuff. Iriminage, kokyunage etc.
The way most aikido demos like this go is someone does a massively telegraphed attack, then a "technique" is performed from various angles/directions of movement (ura, omote...)
While it is essentially a defensive style in that it borrows energy from the attacker to power techniques, atemi waza (striking techniques) are a part of the curriculum. Sadly it just isn't taught in depth by most schools today.
I'm very gradually getting material together with the aim of changing this soon.
no doubting its a beatiful, skillfull art. That doesnt really pass as a strike though :)
Striking in Aikido has a different purpose than compared to striking arts.
@@haventgotaclue2328 to distract so that you can set up position.
@@haventgotaclue2328 no tori uses strikes to distract
@@haventgotaclue2328 no not the uke the tori.
@@haventgotaclue2328 The ukes gives a committed strike yes but for tori he would use atemi as a feint to set up an aikido move.
is that flag Serbian flag?
now this one is not so bad why
