Lundazi Hospital to start operating soon

Ministry of Health Permanent Secretary CHRISTOPHER SIMOONGA has announced that the old Lundazi District Hospital will start operations soon.
And Professor SIMOONGA has further disclosed that the new Lundazi District Hospital will be upgraded into a General Hospital.
The Permanent Secretary said this when he toured the two Hospitals in Lundazi District, Eastern Province.
Professor SIMOONGA said the government has already set aside a budget for the equipment to operationalize the old Lundazi Hospital.
And Lundazi District Commissioner MAJORY BANDA has appreciated the government for the commitment to improve health care services.
Ms BANDA said it has been the wish of the people of Lundazi to have the old District Hospital become operational.
