Hosting of Serbian Children in Greece 1995 | Φιλοξενία παιδιών του πολέμου

During the Yugoslavian wars around 20.000 Serbian kids were hosted in Greece by several families.
Red Cross, Municipalities of Greece and Church organised hosting programs from 1994 till 2006. Kids who were orphans, had lost family members or came from poor families stayed in Greece in order to forget their hardships for a while and overcome psychological problems caused by the traumatic experiences they had lived.
