As an American dental nurse now living in the UK, I’ve noticed the overwhelming majority of people (both UK and USA) with naturally amazing teeth and healthy gums are people of color Blacks..African Americans..Afro Caribbean..South America to name a few. That said, with today’s hyper sensitivity I fear that my polite and genuinely sincere compliment may be misconstrued as racial profiling, or worse yet...that I ‘m a racist. I am not, but my job requires me to peer into mouths all day long, so it’s simply a professional observation. Most astonishing to me, is that I’ve had to vacillate over weather I should post this simple compliment..or not.? ☘️
